I was under the impression that this is a glitch being done with the crossbow but I don't know. Is it a glitch?

not in my 2.98 million rolls have i been in a glitch biome

never spam the crossbow, it deals way less damage...

The crossbow is 100% the better one since you can block at any time but with the bow you have to wait a few seconds after shooting to parry

For now builds why is everyone using moth leggings and mother demon chest why not moth robe and mother demon legs it looks more like archer with moth robe

What an absolute waste of arrows the first fight. Rapid firing crossbows deals MUCH more damage than loading one completely through.

Over here casually saying just make sure you're perfect blocking when I can't even block against an larva sometimes LOL still a pretty cool build though

I can't recommend using this build in New Game Plus because the bosses have really nasty effects and sometimes you just die with one hit

I saw it mentioned in another comment, but rapid firing crossbows does indeed lower their damage for a couple seconds, due to Rough Reload. Lowers it by 75%. But crossbows still have their uses. Either you can run Antlion Armor for faster reload times or Moth Armor for movement speed for kiting your target while you pelt them with arrows. The latter also causes bleed damage and gives stamina back on some attacks. The Bard's Tudor was more made for bows, as their faster attack rate with consistent damage allow better DPS and constant area buffing. Best paired with Moth Armor.

definitely agree it works better with the bards bow lol. would be cool to see this build expanded with a science cone or something with effortless arrow and some other buffs. even a ng4 infused bow. pretty cool though

That's nice, but i wouldn't use the cross bow like you did in the video as a rapid fire. Also, when using the bards' bow, the nifty needle only works if you pull back and wait around 2-4 seconds for it to be considered "fully charged."

Love the idea and effort you have gone to. If I could give a tip for production purposes. You should be a lot more energetic and excitable. Because viewers feel emotions based off you as a director. You come off as very bored and depressive in this in this video and it makes it very plane to watch. The girl has ore of the correct kind of energy if you want to get some serious views. But non the less you have an amazing start. Good luck to you in the future!

This update is kinda bad. They keep adding things that are half broken. They shouldn’t have added the Virginia until they fixed the original armsys and cannibal ai. Virginias ai is definitely better than the armsys but it’s also really broken. Cannibals are still really broken. I wanna like this game but every update adds more and more bugs without the original ones getting fixed

I do not think it is a max dps build because with a lv 9 mighty or salty toenail scimitar for the mantis with fire and armor and shield with blade master and coup de grass and trapper peep.r you can basically annihilate any creature you come across
