Teaching a Beginner Basketball Player NBA MOVES!
My coach told me that if you counter but drag ur right hand u may be able to stop the crossover if its easy to get
how do you guard then
so how do u defend this then?
None of that matters when all you did was carry.
That last pound dribble on the stop was not necessary. He could’ve just crossed back immediately
Unless your hand is under the ball it's not a carry
Gof bless, if the ball is stuck in your hand and wrist, its a carry. U have to know how to position your hands for it to be clean
he kinda has to if he wants to show an example. In a real game, he would probably handle it different
its a demonstration
Oh my god these guys invented a new move!! I think we should call it a JUMPSHOT
Where is your practice to be at? I’m thinking about taking private practice with y’all.
yo theres this thing in basketball that i invented recently, its where you get really close to the hoop and just shoot it off the backboard with one hand, super efficient, i think i might call it a layup
I don't understand your point of irony. Jumpshots exist for a reason. You can use them in various situations. Personally for me, i don't want to get blocked by taller players than me after a layup, that's why i use it.
Say this to LaMelo
Lamelo is 6’6
@@shxco4176The average is literally 6'7, so your point isnt valid
@@MambaMentalityK you think one inch average means he needs to jump to get his shot off. I’d hate to know what 1 inch could do to your girlfriend 🤣😁
@@shxco4176 Tf are you on, if lamelo were to go straight into a pull up he would get blocked because he doesn't jump, specially since his height is below average
@@MambaMentalityK good thing he shoots one legged, fades or step backs then bum n🥷🏽er argue with the wall
This song is so bad holy he said bip bop boom boom bam bang sounding like iggy azalia
Music is subjective obviously but that's still insane😭
“JUMP shot” say it with me now
Ian got hang time. Was in the air for a minute.
no shit
Yet a bunch of people don't do it y'all really think y'all doing sum with this
my unique problem i have a really bad vertical
How do you make sure the ball doesn't get picked on the cross?
If the defender’s all the way to the left to counter his drive then he can use his off hand in the cross and easily blow by no chance of a steal.
I feel like the kids who really need to watch this stuff or watching skibbity f****** toilet instead. The only ones watching are the old asses like me going Man if I only had this when I was a kid
Does they count foul or no? I've got a question🤔
Thanks
that's still a carry omg
just admit ur a casual
No shit Sherlock 🤷🏾♂️
Bro recording the himself with back camera
Nah this is literally highschool ball too
This is used a lot in volleyball, being called a 3-step approach. It's what every hitter will use. Great video!
The sweat on his shirt😂
Bro I love your vids they help me a lot.thank you
Love your vids bro I got so much better with your ball handling the best defender on my team can’t guard me now
Coach do you have any tips on drills I can do to get more stronger I average about five blocks per games but if I was a bit more built and not just lengthy I could get more any advice?
At that point you might just have to bulk
Where your practice be at, I thinking about taking the private practices with y’all?
love your vids
Thanks for all the great content. Super helpful. Could you please make a video on what to do when a defender keeps blocking your paths to drive?
Good video
Bro are y'all dumb. It's Luka
Anyone else notice the guy in the black tank top traveled??
So if I just cup the ball in like that I can walk up the court no problem?
travel
You forgot travel buddy also the ball has to be live in a dribble
Ok nice
The way he screams "YOUR STIFF!" Is crazy
Ian - awesome content!
I’ll live with the deep 3 until you make two in a row
Right! In pickup yea….but in collegiate and pro levels, 2 in a row could have coach sittin yo ass down lol
Great video👍. Also I haven't heard this song in like 6 months
Love the vids ❤
Can anyone tell me how this helps
Trust me, top foot doesn’t mean anything unless it’s very exaggerated. Don’t over complicate the game by looking for the top foot. Just find an open spot and get to it by attacking low and wide. Use your back for protection.
I’ll drop this guy off 11 zip
if you cross at the counter it is 99% guaranteed youll get the ball stolen, all they need to do is put their hand down and your cross is gone.
That's true but if I'm low with my head down then I have a better chance of getting the crossover off because the defender has to reach under my body for the ball
If you cross when he doesn't counter. He saying if Ian anticipated the hesi and cuts him off then cross.
@@SprinklerMan1 they can still reach out for the ball, and a counter doesnt necessarily mean they wont stop, they can stop and reach out or go after you anyways, they just need to duck a bit and reach out, i say this because i do this and it has happened to me, a normal cross usually is just giving the ball away to a defender unless their defense is really bad.
@@justagirltherebest way to not let the ball get stolen is to do the between the legs counter, very versatile, your leg and upper body protects the ball, reach in is hard for the defender unless fouling you... also puts you in a great stance to attack and/or add another counter
you can behind the back cross to avoid it getting stolen, you could also cross between the legs, or you could hesi a cross to create more time and space then dip and go to the right again theres really a million ways to beat the trap you just have to be able to think quick enough not to get caught in it
Good Explanation! Who is this guy? Where does he play?
Mark Carter. Played in the TBL and other Pro Leagues
You carried
When you’re demonstrating in slow motion you kinda have to carry.
@@LegoatJamesxtrue. True
I'm sure like 95% hoopers from USA travels most of the time and carry and they know that but any ref call this...
No one pullin from there except Curry
Ain't he not standing on the 3pt line and not farther away?
Was taht nba or high school. I though nba thats why@@gametester_hdx4123
That’s not a deep three at all I think any decent shooter would pull that if they’re open😂
But bro would also be smlthered. There was not alot of spac3@@TopG_1111
Bro everyone pulling there, its like you time traveled from 1990
Recording the come them cutting to a video of him was funny af
