C4 has green inside the led itself. B4 does not , when put next to each other the difference is quite clear.

LG panels are defective especially g4's. Many of them have dead pixels.

Having just rejected an LG C3 that lasted only two weeks of light use before the panel failed i am very reluctant to buy another Oled. Oled panels have served us well, but mini-Led and micro-led are catching up fast and this is where the future lies, Oled has been taken as far as possible, the latest MLA Oleds may be brigter but how much strain are the placing on the electronices that drive them ? Here in the UK LG are offering a 20% discount on all models including the 2024 ones that have just become available, this to me says they were overpriced when launched.

Having spent over 50 years in consumer electronics repairs, experience tells me that that the lifespan of any display is reduced by runing them with the factory settings, these are meant to impress you when first turning on a new TV, but do it no favours in the long term. OLED displays are more expensive to repair if the panel fails, you can't take it apart and just replace any burned out backlights as you can with LED panels. As advised keep the settings down or your new TV will have a short life, this is what still keeps me in a job!

Actually the picture difference between the g3 and 4 is very small the only difference is a newer processer so if you have the two tvs side by side and look very closely you will notice that the imagine on the g4 is a little sharper. When you look at the big price difference between the two you are better off getting the g3.

It's the OpenGL/Vulkan Compatibility update/app. Uninstall the update and it fixes the issue.

I found it interesting in the TH-cam video "Most Popular Operating Systems (Desktop & Laptops) 1978 - 2023" how Windows 10 continues to pull further and further ahead of everything, and Mac's continue to loose more and more of their market share for the past 2 years. Maybe everyone is fed up with the gouged prices of ram & drive space? Or is it that there is simply way more software and hardware available for PC's than Mac's? Or maybe people of just sick of doing things....Apple's way or the highway? It's a good watch, and should help people make up their minds which kinds of systems to buy.
