What a difference to back in the 90's when I first came across octopluse gear when you did leg systems and accessories that could be put onto boxes like the old Shakespeare box. I had a leg system with all the accessories including two of your old red side trays and they were still as good when I sold my box last year as they were the day i brought them about 30 years ago . Shame not many tackle shops stock your gear now so that i could see what your gear is like now 👍

This has got to be the most pointless video of all time. My Preston box weighs 10kg if you take the legs and platform off and leave them at home 😂 sorted

A very interesting video Rick with great logic behind it..I will soon be buying the footplate to use with my recently purchased Octbox Compact..as you demonstrate in this video,it takes a matter of seconds to unclip the drawer modules and lift the box into the car in two separate parts and then clip the drawer unit back on again..therefore not risking your back..excellent! 👏

Can it accept other seat boxes e.g diawa 800?

Now that really is taking the pi&& out of fishing. In all my 50+ yrs of fishing, I have always stood for 5hrs river fishing, bait apron on etc. Anglers today are just to bloody lazy in my opinion.

Hi Rick I have used my D25 like this on odd occasion's but why not just fit another Outrigger to the rear legs as you do with the front ?

Is Octbox anything to do with the old octoplus leg systems we used to fit to the Shakespeare boxes ?

When are you going back for the rest of your gear if you’re going to show it in action put everything a match angler would tack to the peg .as a side point the track is a disgrace with what the fishery charges it should be in better state of repair.

How is that set up as it shows the footplate still under the box yet it looks extended at the rear?

Awesome system. Wish I could afford it. Lol. I use fishing as therapy due to being diagnosed with complex PTSD and one of the things that stresses me out is transporting gear to the bank.
