Lockdown boredom set in. I can't play anything so being a Nick Cave fan decided to do my take on his film trailer. No budget, limited footage and Kylie not being available means I ended up with this!

60ft Dolls - The Water Rats
มุมมอง 1.1K3 ปีที่แล้ว
We went up to the Hi-Rise office one day and they asked if we'd heard of the 60ft Dolls and played us a demo. Thought they sounded great so went along to the Water Rats that night and they allowed us to film 3 songs for possible inclusion in our next video fanzine. Instead they sent us the Happy Shopper video to use so we never asked to film them again. Regret not filming more as they were righ...

I filmed this at Festive Farmyard Frolics, The Frat Shack @ The Garage, Dec. 23rd 1994. This was previously used in the Red Hot Bazoombas video. When I find the other tape, a mixed clip will surface.
Pimlico - Consider Archie

This was filmed for inclusion on video fanzine, Collide-A-Scope Vol 2 but never got round to doing it! Enjoy one of the three tracks we filmed, Consider Archie. I do remember that it was filmed the night of Eric Cantona's kung fu kick at Selhurst Park as we watched it whilst ordering a Chinese on the way home.

Does anyone has the lyrics please????
Where/ when was this from? Anymore footage??
Can’t believe they weren’t huge!
2:02 The Professionals tv theme tune !
Morrissey in 1995 sounds exactly the same...
Or the manics in the early 90s or blur for that matter
Lost genius
They are making a comeback at the 100 Club!

What a tune, can imagine a few big name bands that came after them being influenced by this .
And now they're back!!
Plus finally an LP!
Ahead of their time.
Poppin' Parlourtastic!!
Is this the gig thats in the debut album art work. ??
Great band, sorely missed
Wtf, why are we missing this kind of music these days! Fcking pure energy and lyrics that are truful! What a three piece band they were man!
the bass line is on point
Superb quality.....would love to see more of this gig or from that tour....
Tony Barber's smile is legendary 9:03
I love how he catches and instantly tosses away that hat all in the same motion!
Not great live at all
意外とセカンドアルバムの方がいいデイジーチェーンソー
Absolutely love Ed and S*M*A*S*H. ❤❤
Saw them in the Wedgewood Rooms Portsmouth in 94 I think, with SMASH. Amazing. Still listen to them now.
Thank you for posting this...x
Same lighting as the photo on the CD
Amazing - I was at this! 16 years old - my first festival - how my parents let me go on my own I've no idea, I still have flashbacks to the weekend, it was the craziest thing I'd seen at that age (people openly selling drugs everywhere, THE TOILETS). I was an absolutely massive fan of The Wonderstuff at the time and nothing would have stopped me from seeing their last show (until the reformed). Had seen TAM at the legendary TJs in Newport a few weeks before hand and was an instant fanboy! Saw them several times after as well - a great band of their time, utterly electric live.
Wonderful ! Loved this band , they had it all
wasted talent, great band
brilliant
I went to army cadets with wez... lol... hello mate if u read this... nightshift warehouse full of booze last time we met.... be lucky
some blasts from some pasts! xx
Very good. Super 8 was a very underrated medium.
Love this song and its vocals
anymore of this???
Who were the promoters for Swank? Was it Simon and Dave? It was long time ago and my memory is shit
Yes mate. Me (who posts these clips) and Simon.
Played with them on this tour in Sunderland, great gig.
The mysterious case of the inaudible bass. Still great that this got recorded!
One of the best bands i saw back in the day energy passion and fire they had it all what did we get instead.....fucking oasis
come back ...... We Need This
yes
I saw these lovely people in the Zodiac, Oxford in the early 90’s …. great shtuff !
Forever classic.
I'd love to see them play again.
they do
They just did two gigs.
superb and way ahead of other bands
Fucking Legends!
It must be the 18th June 1993. A great 4 that showed that the band had lost nothing of its sparkling magic
Rat scabies on guitar
Not being funny but this sounds utter tripe and I love the damned.
yea it is crap......the pistols wouldnt waste their tiome doing a damned cover hahaha
Hi, Robert Courtney, Doll guitarist here, we were wondering where you got this video from as we're currently compiling all our unpublished video footage and can't recall this 2 camera edit?
I filmed it. Sean's aware I did it.
@@robertcourtney4579 will do mate. Have unedited tapes but only what you see in both posted clips.
