A quick update! I arrived safely on St. Helena Island! Here is a quick glimpse of my arrival at St. Helena Airport! Now that I am secure in my accommodation on the island, no longer jetlagged and have managed to acquire WiFi, I will update my Blog weekly! ...check it out today - www.journeytosthelena.com

Pity the person holding the camera couldn’t keep it still and then gently zoom in and out, it was as if the camera was a flying insect! It looks similar to the UK but in the tropics, lots of old British cars, same style registration plates, driving on the left side of the road, same road signs, same looking street bollards but no yellow lines yet or parking meters! Hopefully with flights now able to land at the airport this will increase the tourism from the UK?

So glad i found ur channel. .found out about this island 2 days ago on "love island"...one of the contestants are from helena...my family n I are planning to visit Helena. I just love how remote it is...freedom from this crazy world.

Definitely on my Bucket list. Good to see they drive on the correct side of the road on St. Helena! :-)
I guess it depends on which side of the pond you originate from.
I prefer the left side the steering wheel but if that is what there is total is an island I can not ask for much more
