In 1991, (back before the internet or cell-phone videos) I produced a half hour TV show made up of 30 second home-made classified videos. It aired in the Puget Sound area and in on the CBS station KERN in Bakersfield. The show was fun, but not worth the time it took to produce it.

Global Warming is a natural occurrence.

Taking a look at the Theory of Relativity from a different perspective explains many things, including Global Warming. I first posted a video disclosing this theory on TH-cam 12 years ago. Nearly 1,000 people (having an interest in astrophysics) have viewed it. No one has argued against it. Maybe because it's too ridiculous to argue, but then maybe there is no argument to be made against it. Pr...

In the early 90s, before Craigslist, Offer up, or before the internet was popular, I came up with an idea of how people could market their products and services by making home-made TV ads using their video cameras. My buddy Matt and I hosted it in the beginning. It was barely successful here in the Seattle area, but fairly successful when I moved it down to KERN TV (CBS affiliate) in California.

The Message movie short
มุมมอง 272 ปีที่แล้ว
In the late 90s, as a board member of the Tacoma Film Festival, I decided to produce a movie short for my own entry. I wrote a story that could take place in a night club. A friend of mine owned a vacant club he allowed us to film in. I put an ad out in the paper offering an unpaid opportunity to appear in the short and was inundated with responses. Considering that it was produced quickly with...
LOON, the full length movie
มุมมอง 4123 ปีที่แล้ว
95 minute romantic comedy about a homeless man who for medical reasons, can't remember his past. A past that a kind doctor helps him discover. Amazingly, the film was completed 25 years ago over a 9 month period of time on a budget of less than $10,000 by a cast (of mostly stage actors) and a marginally experienced production crew. The production quality isn't the best, but I think you will agr...

First and last experiment with a drone. I thought it would be a good idea to buy a drone and capture some video of the homes I built. This was my first attempt. I downloaded the video to review it. After seeing that it didn't capture much video of the houses I wanted to record, I sent it back up again... where it lodged in a tree, where it remains today. Maybe I should leave this to the profess...

This is great, this is what YT is or used to be, all about. I mean... the 1960s were one thing, but the reality was different, superior. Music comes from a wellspring. No one can slap a name of that spring. It's not God, music is too sexual, it's too funky, even Beethoven was funky, he might even be funkier than them all, he was a wild force, a wild, wild force. Rest in peace, Dave Crosby, a GOAT of the outspoken, a true tree of knowledge. The best goes on, music goes on and FUCK the corporations, just fuck 'em. LIFE!

I don't think many people realize how gifted Gend Clark was. His prolific songwriting was among the best and he had a unique voice and wide vocal range where he conveyed a tremendous amount of emotion. His White Light album among other solo albums demonstrates this.

Cool interview. Gene Clark's songs were both accessible and compelling lyrical. "Fell A Whole Lot Better" comes to mind. His descriptions of coming up with music through "walking day dreams" is a great description of what it's like. He comes across as a serious, introspective, thoughtful person. And that likely relates to the music in "No Other" as the expression of his artistic presence. His reminisces about songs like "My Back Pages" beings back the experience of that great era of rock music in the middle & late '60's. And the influence goes on, like this interview. Rick Robert's song "Colorado" with the Flying Burritos. Rick Nelson's song "Garden Party" resonates.

Incorrect. Roger McGuinn was the last surviving member of The Byrds. Gene Clark, an exceptional songwriter and vocalist, effectively quit the band in 1966 when he was unable to board airplanes in order to tour with the band, and so left to pursue a solo career.

#1 Inspect an anthill. Any anthill. #2 Choose an ant at random. Any ant. #3 Ask yourself: "What can I do to get this ant to believe in me? To worship me, to praise me, to pray to and sacrifice to me?" #4 Then ask yourself: "Why am I asking such stupid questions?" #5 Then ask yourself an intelligent question: "If I'm so much more advanced than any ant, and I don't care what it thinks about me, then how much less so would any sentience capable of creating universes care about what I think?" #6 Then go about your way confident in the ability that you've chided yourself successfully.
