So many good memories here I was 100% at this race I was 5yrs old my dads friend was racing this one Rick Kent #10 🏎️🫶🏼not sure why my dad wasn’t racing this one. But we were for sure there watching Rick #10 race 🏁

I believe Petty raced at saugus once as well. I was there for it. Shoot being that long ago it could have been Allison. Talking over 30 years ago. But those were the days when racers appreciated the fans and raced for the love of the sport.

Do you remember when we had the meeting at the Victorville fair grounds to start the Victorville auto races track1995, it was me you harry schooler Baer foot Billy and and the next day paint and body guy ,his name and a few others slip my mind ,we approved the idea , and harry started the pouring of the K- rail right on the starting lane wit forms he came up with , lol nice thanks for the ol 8 mm video, thanks BigAl California praise Jesus Christ grace amen 🙏

Wow.... Born in '64. This is fascinating to me. Large car count and bodies clean and straight. Unfortunately by 1990 suburban L.A. will consume this increadable landmark. Great video quality too.

Watching Dave taught me to set my car up to run the outside and to use the outside when the opportunity arose.

I blame on the demise on the Little Orbit Doughnut dickweed. I mean, come on, doughnuts for a peanut and beer crowd? And Ascot had the best peanuts in the world. Doughnuts at a figure 8 race? Seriously, It's liberal regulations on fun and individualism. I grew up in LA. It was beautiful. Now, it's a toilet. Thanks Democrats.

they recently just tore down the stands...its sad to see someone run the track into the ground and not want to look to sell to investors to bring the track back
