ok ex scratcher here, on the list topic when i used scratch and well what i do with programming now a days is changing around data and storing them ect... the lists or arrays are pretty powerful as they can store states, data and all kinds of things like for example you can store a list of coordinates in them and go through them one by one, search for items in the list and get their index and more, that could be useful for converting from one thing to another or like storing a database where you have a list of cars and it's features, store HP of the car, how many gears it has ect... and you can look up lets say how many gears the honda uses or filter for only cars that are greater the 500 but less then 1000 HP. there are other plenty useful things you can use lists or arrays and theres also dicts which are dictionary's in other programming languages which instead of indexing with numbers you can index with a words or whatever aka strings but yeah just wanted to let you know since you showed it basically acting like a sorta join block. but yeah my scratch days are over and i know use index('example') for python and .indexOf('example') for javascript which wasn't at all confusing when .index was in the autocomplete of my ide but is invalid code...
