Snello Bear Recipe
Welcome to my channel. I am an aquarium hobbyist and breeder with many years of fish keeping experience. I wanted to post a video of this recipe as it is a good one and very easy to do. I am not an expert at filming and such but I still hope you enjoy the video. I may do a tank by tank, species by species series of all my fish, shrimp, snails and plants. Let me know if you are interested!
Green Snello Bear Recipe:
1-1/2 jars of Heinz by Nature Peas & Spinach (200ml or 6 ozs) Walmart
½ jar of Heinz by Nature Sweet Potatoes (60ml or 2 ozs) Walmart
2 teaspoons Calcium Carbonate Powder www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B008X8HVD0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
2 tablespoons loose tropical fish food flakes
1 packet Knox Gelatin Powder
3 Gummy bear molds www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07W5GNF8J/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Put calcium carbonate powder and fish food flakes in a baggie crush to a fine powder.
Add 1-1/2 jars peas & spinach baby food and ½ jar sweet potato baby food to a heat proof bowl.
Microwave on high for 30 seconds, remove from microwave and stir well.
Return to microwave and heat for another 30 seconds.
Remove from microwave and slowly stir in the packet of gelatin and the fish food/ calcium mixture.
Stir very well and then put the mixture into clean molds. Freeze until frozen - approx 2-3 hours.
Remove from freezer and unmold them. Divide into baggies and store them in the freezer.
When ready to feed them to your snails you can add them whole to the tank or chop them up if you have lots of snails or babies. I chop the snello bears up, it makes for many dinner tables ;)
Do not over feed.
Thanks for watching, comments are welcome!
