Sometimes the groom’s parents can negotiate a lower price on his behalf and show that he comes from a good family with similar values. It’s also to show the parents the groom is a capable husband and future father “provider figure” and helps him get approval to become their son in law.

Just to clarify on the "big nose". Thai people don't think big nose attractive. They want nice shape nose, with good proportion to the face. But they want the nose to have higher bridge (again not too high). Many Thais are born with flat, big and lower nose bridge, unfortunately. So nose job is one of the most popular plastic surgery for Thai women.

Im not really sure about that . I havr thai wife , and after eating in the restaurant with her family they said that fish was not good . Trust me , they had no hesitation to jump on the cook and fight to lower a price . And they weren't polite at all 😂

I don't think I'd ever like Thai women for anything more than one thing. They're probably the worst type of Asian woman for any kind of Westerner to be marrying. They're right about their Western men having too much strained eyebrows, but you can't blame them being married to a Thai woman. My wife is Northern Chinese. During covid, and our long exit from China we spent about 8 months in her village. There were times we only showered once every 2 weeks, and I haven't worn deodorant since 2011. Couldn't imagine having a pissy woman because I'm not showering up to 3 times a day in the hot season. I do not really like Thais. The women at least. Haven't really ever known any Thai men.

These stereotypes apply more to Europeans than to Americans. Regarding food, Americans are exposed to a much greater variety of food than most ethnocentric Europeans, regarding hygiene, Americans are much cleaner than Europeans who at most, bathe once per week. I avoid most foreigners both tourists and expats. Twenty four years here seen too many weird things that creep me out. Seen more than a few arrogant foreign women with their feet up behind a Thais head. Tends to be mostly the Euros . The walking around looking like your wardrobe came from a dumpster and or half naked seem much too often. Really had enough of the freaks. I speak Thai so have no issues living in Nakhon Nowhere. Have not seen a foreigner in over a month fine with me. I have Subscribed to your channel. Good luck getting many foreigners to listen.
