Oh btw I subbed your channel 😊
Thanks so much!
I don’t feel the support right now and im realizing the reality of why im feeling stuck. The fact that im not willing to go hide under a rock until he finds new supply. Why do I feel so doomed. He put me out the house and is calling day n night. Showing up to my mom’s house unannounced. Constantly hovering me. Making false promises. Keeping me in a state of discomfort and I’m always on edge. I hate that I have to fight back and stand my ground more now than ever because I’m not a quitter.. 😊 but this is gonna take all I got
This is what I call "the scotch tape effect". Treating you like he hates you and like he loves you at the same time. It's a splitting incident where he's going full-steam in 2 opposite directions. Just like when you tear scotch tape in half and pull it in 2 different directions. It keeps going and going till the 2 halves are far, far apart. This is what causes cognitive dissonance. Your brain is trying to hold onto 2 completely opposite beliefs at once. It causes brain fog, lack of clarity and exhaustion!

Im asking for a lie detector. He told lies that locked me up and legally kidnapped my child, and put a protection order on me when it should have been opposite.
I am so sorry :( I've seen this time and time again.
Best advice ever! 👍I unfortunately ended up with a lawyer that ended up costing me a lot. He was meeting with my ex on the side, a very unethical man.
VERY unethical!!!
I think I will wait to watch this.
I agree! The movie was a romanticized version of DV. Oddly, the aftermath and fallout between the actors is a truer representation of narcissistic/ DV abuse than the movie. It’s chaotic, nasty, and unrelenting: it never becomes civil between ex partners. If you’re interested, the Maid is an exceptional example movie depicting the complexities of escaping DV. I find if a person has not lived through it, it’s extremely hard to comprehend that it’s not just a matter of walking out the door.
I agree with you. I often recommend Maid to my clients. It’s much more realistic. Thanks for your comment!
@@VictoriaMcCooeyThere are so many examples of DV in the true crime genre, but I don’t think people want to see it. It’s still a taboo subject that no one wants to think about until it touches them or someone they care about. Don’t you think young people need to learn the dangers of toxic relationships before they’re in them? I think it should be required course work for preteens. ❤
Thank you so much for this information❤ I'm still learning and asking God for the strength I need while having to deal with him
Consistency Is Safer All Round
My difference between the two, is “USUALLY “ and not always, the making of money!!
The only time i ever felt like i “won” an argument was when i sat there quietly as he yelled and when he came at me with “nothing to say huh?” i calmly said “when normal people argue, they’re trying to reach a common ground. there’s no point in arguing with someone who’s sole intention is to win” and for the first (and last) time ever i actually got the last word. Now i just walk away and put headphones in

First thing one should do, when divorce comes into mind, ask yourself honestly what is the root cause, that lead to that situation, and how can it be changed. Because divorce will make your life a lot more complicated, it's not a good choice, most of the time, and it will not solve your problems, but it will create many new problems. So better stop it, and work on the real problems, instead. And get professional help, from someone who is really experienced in that field.
Most times the person that starts calling their partner a narcisist, is the narcisist.

What if the Narc is a wlfe They DO exist
My ex narc had turned my only sister against me. He went on to manipulate her into selling him her percentage of our business. So now he is my business partner. His smear campaign was disgusting & full of lies. His parental alienation has affected our children extremely negatively. Luckily, I solely focused on my children & their mental health & today we are closer than ever. I’ve lost A LOT (not to mention the extreme financial abuse, and the embezzlement from my business), but I didn’t lose the love & respect of my children; personally that’s ALL that matters to me. He can continue to lie & manipulate all he wants, he’s only digging his own grave. Which I will happily dance on when he’s💀.
Why did you marry the narcissist in the first place? They always give red flags. 2. Check your hypocrisy 3. Careful of your support person. Some of them don’t have your back. They might be single, just experienced a failed relationship and want to have someone to join them and go through the same with them. Misery loves company. Lastly, Jealousy loves to tear down.
In my experience, there are so many narcissists around, I would go as far to say that they make up 50% of the population in some form or another.
If I tell the cps about something my child says they immediately tell the dad

0:14 I need help . My situation is very serious . I have had to hide my daughter with my family . He loosened all lug nuts in my tires two nights ago . I don't trust the police here or lawyers because they seem to be connected to him in one way or another ... I am desperately in need of help for I fear he will eventually end up killing me!
This! I was once told. I only say the good about you so I can say the bad.
Much Peace Future Accountants ✌️
I'd like to say not everyone has a personality disorder. Some are emotionally dysregulated due to past trauma. That doesn't make it any more acceptable but I felt it just needed some clarification.
Started a conversation in the middle of the conversation. Was this a multi part?
You say Narcissist a million times, but we cannot hear HIS side about what a psycho you might be, therefore this is all hearsay and ONLY your PoV!!
In the United States, psychologists experience a divorce or separation rate of approximately 19.3%, which is higher than the national average of 16.96% across all occupations.

Here's To Real & True You Carrying Yourself Thru Your Very New Tommorrow
They make it Impossible for it to be over. Once it’s finalized the parental alienation amps up. They go Hard on the children, saying & doing everything in their feeble “power” to make you look like the “bad guy”. They rewrite history & change up stories. My ex actually told our oldest daughter that she was an accident💀. She tried to make it sound like it was funny, but I could tell she was devastated. I assured her she was Very Much intentionally conceived on our honeymoon & that it felt like my life began the instant I gave birth to her🥰. These monsters stop at Nothing to continue the smear campaign & will do Anything to get your attention. He went on to turn my only sister against me, Then proceeded to buy out her %age of family business, making us business partners☠️. It’s a never-ending nightmare. Little by little our children are starting to see his true colors, but they’re also realizing my never-ending strength, patience, & love for them🥰. He effed up big-time by embezzling, my sister actually LIED to the police, saying she “authorized” the embezzlement. They Both have a BIG surprise coming to them, I’ll leave it at that for now😁✌🏼
Very biased, always assuming the narcissist is a man, couldn't even finish listening.
Fantastic advice ❤❤❤
Thank you so much!
Very well said. I was the alienated parent in a Very contentious divorce from a narcissist. He Almost succeeded in turning my children against me, but I consistently provided them a safe place to be themselves, to be heard & understood, & to be unconditionally loved. Children automatically gravitate toward reciprocated love & kindness. They need a break from the chaos and maelstrom of living with a narcissist. If anyone is going thru this, I’m sending prayers🙏 and much love & respect to you & your children🥰.
Thank you so much for your kind comment!
thank you
@@RedMtRock you are so very welcome!

This is one way that a narcissistic parent destroys the personality building of their children.
