Hi…. My name is Kari. Welcome to Cleaning and Clearing Clutter with Kari. I am a 63 year old who actually does enjoy domestic engineering (housework, laundry and cooking). I am married to Staci (yes, I’m married to a woman and hopefully that won’t change your mind and opinion about watching my videos) and you will hear me talk about her or mention her name periodically. I also am the mother of 3 amazing grown adult women and grandmother (Nonnie) of 5. I have an amazing bonus daughter and a bonus grandson too. Basically, this channel is me sharing my journey of cleaning, clearing clutter and organizing in my whole house in 2024, but gonna keep going at years end. I’ll also be throwing in a cooking video every once in awhile, because it’s always fun to share recipes. My 30 minute missions (give or take), will hopefully encourage, motivate and inspire you on your journey to “cleaning and clearing clutter” in your home too. HAPPY CLEANING 🧹 🧽 and WELCOME!

I’m back and ready to get back to my regular cleaning and clearing clutter routine. My mother in-law passed away shortly after my last video and so we have been taking care of a lot of stuff that has to be dealt with after losing a loved one. ZEP did the trick. For a cleaning project like this, the next time I will be sure to have another brush, something better to kneel on and another bottle of Zep on hand. My next tile projects are bigger than this bathroom, so I wan to be prepared. Happy Cleaning. 🧹 🧽

Look no further for an amazing grout cleaner. ZEP. I am shocked at how well this works. It is mildew and mold cleaner, but does also say for grout and tile. I’m sold and a believer now.

My Monday morning mission, fridge clean out. I like to do this on Mondays, so that all of the leftovers and expired things are out and ready for the trash truck tomorrow.
A TWO INGREDIENT MEAL. Papa Stew.

I wanted to share this easy peasy recipe that my dad used to make for our family years ago at the lake. We named it Papa Stew. 2 large cans of Veg-all and a 1 lb. package of “Eckrich” smoked sausage (sliced). My dad has been gone for 33 years, and fixing this brings back all the good feels. ENJOY.

I ended up adding another teaspoon of sugar to the salsa. I fixed a salad with a bunch of things and added this salsa to my salad and it was delicious.
My kids always loved when I made fried rice. Yours looks even better. ❤

I find that the powders don’t seem to settle into my aging face wrinkles. Milani is currently my favorite face powder. Conveniently, Walmart carries that brand as well as CVS.

Oh my! I’ve never seen so many shoes except in a shoe store. I own 4 pair; 1 pair flip flops, 2 pair sneakers, 1 pair flats. I also have 1 pair house slippers.
I love thrift store shopping and almost ALL of them are from a 2nd hand store. I NEED to purge more and the struggle is real.

Yes. I have been at this for a while. Now, I’m tackling every room/drawer/cupboard/closet. Ya know…..once I have done that, I’ll be going back through it, so I guess this declutter thing is never finished.

It is so refreshing to see someone with a regular home decluttering same as me. Most channels have designer kitchen that are bordering on ridiculous lol
Thank you. I’m just a girl on a 2024 declutter mission for my whole house. I have been doing it for a long time, but just started video documenting for my own personal view and was hoping to encourage, inspire and motivate those on a similar journey too. Good luck with your declutter journey.
I am working on decluttering and organizing my kitchen. When I get to a point I’m overwhelmed, I stop. Tomorrow is another day. I realize the kitchen alone could take me a bit.
The kitchen is like a house in itself, right? It took me a while to get through it, with many videos, and I actually started before I started video documenting my declutter journey. One thing that helped me, was to only commit to 15 minutes. I almost always got started and then was motivated to keep going for a while. Good luck with your declutter project and keep in touch.
