Grinding CORN into meal and putting it in a GIANT plastic bag!
มุมมอง 449ปีที่แล้ว
Hey folks! In todays episode we are combining corn, grinding it and putting it in ag bags. We tried the 10 ft bag and an 8 ft bag since this is our first time doing this process. We want to see which one makes better feed and which one is easier to get the corn meal out of. We did get it all done and bagged up with only about 3 feet of bag to spare, we would have had to just put it in the bunk ...

Gonna give you a heads up - Full Ridgid shop here. That impact greatly benefits from the "Octane" 3AH battery. Those smaller 1.5Ah battery units (that you got from the guy) make it hit really weak. It works in a pinch, I've used them. But they're short lived and greatly weakens the impact. Those newer lithiums should hit better but will not last horribly long. I keep those old 1.5Ah on my drill and impact driver (for lag screws and cement anchors etc) and it works perfect in those applications. The 3Ah Octane is the best cost/performance. iirc, TTC tested the Ridgid batteries and found the 3Ah was the sweet spot. The bigger ones just didn't hit as hard. I use the larger 6Ah for my work lights (lasts about 6-8 hours; 4 on a icy freezing night) or my heat gun (which goes through batteries like water). The "Octane" batteries are hard to find now - being allegedly superseded by the "Max Output" - but I know a lot of the changes are as a result of Ridgid outshining Milwaukee and their High-Torque impacts (Both are owned by TTI, and TTI wants Millwaukee to be their "Premium Prosumer" line. To them, Ridgid was always just Regular "Prosumer" (despite their Octane tools really knocking them into that higher category) and Ryobi was their Home Consumer brand). As a result, a lot of the great stuff like Octane got killed off, and they went on to "update" their High Performance "Octane" line to "Max Lithium" and no-name brushless lines. Regardless I'm happy with the tools. I'm super impressed with their Mid-Torque and I got the mama jamma High Torque before they went extinct and was one of the best purchases I've ever made. Hope they serve you well as they've served me!
Thanks for the comment! I don’t currently have any 3AH batteries. I didn’t know those stats, love TTC and Project Farm - haven’t seen that particular video though. I will have to look into it. Shouldn’t be too bad to get them into the case somehow when I get me hands on some!
Awesome Video !!!
Thanks!
Overall a great clip but honestly don't know if I've ever seen anyone spend this much time ( or money ) on harbor freight tools. Even though those sockets are really dollar for dollar great value , they are still basic limited sizes. Guess great for farm use , but not much for most automotive. Not downing you because it's a great clip just not for me line of go kits. Hope you get good feedback from others in similar situations to you as it really seems to be well thought out.
Harbor Freight tools have always served us well on the farm. Most things are not weird sizes. Lots of 3/4, 1/2, and 9/16. Lots of times I use the metric as just another standard with 13, 14 and 19 mm. We don't deal much with metric but just nice to have and more versatile than having two SAE sets in the same box.
That's the ALL AMERICAN TRUMP TRAIN! ALL ABORD TO A BETTER ECONOMY, SAFE HOME LAND AND INEXPENSIVE GAS! WOOOOOHOOOO FOR MAGA COUNTRY! 😊
Just like Nascar, I don't get it
I hope the sprayer works out for you guys.
Working so far!
Are those all rocks? We pick them up.
Way too many rocks to get concerned about them here. We pick up big ones but can’t spend all day running around picking up the small ones
I understand. Sure looks like a lot of them. I've got a 1466 and 1206. Great tractors.
Great video, have a good time in Wisconsin Phil.

I quit cereal because the ingredients contain poison, (TSP) I quit milk because farmers ruin it playing Toby to Govt. The good fat in milk is gone leaving behind nothing but sugar.
Hi there! I find this very interesting that you believe that farmers are ruining milk at the behest of the government. This is simply not true. The milk we produce has no adulteration happening to it. Aside from Pasteurization, Homogenization, and fortifying with Vitamin D, there is no processes that reduce fat content in milk, if you buy WHOLE milk. Now there is fat removed from Skim, 1 and 2 percent but that’s the only thing that happens; fat is removed, nothing added. Buying Whole Milk will give you a 97% fat free beverage that contains 8g of protein per serving, that is what I would call a protein drink right there! Whole milk has always been on average 3.25% fat, and that’s the way it still is. That’s why it’s natures most nearly perfect food! Thanks for the comment - hopefully I have opened your eyes to some of the benefits of milk. If you still have further questions let me know!
This retired Australian dairy farmer enjoys your video. Its a worldwide problem. The person who dreamt this list will make more money than you for a lot less effort.
