NEW: Humans of Nature - Twala, Leikiji, and Nabulu
The third Humans of Nature speaks of “Oltoilo Obo Loontomonok,” the One Voice of Women. This episode describes the challenges Maasai women face in Laikipia County, Kenya: their day-to-day activities, their care for the farm, the children, and each other. Regenerative Agriculture for a Nature-Positive Production System, A UN Food Systems Summit
มุมมอง 7033 ปีที่แล้ว
Regenerative Agriculture describes farming and grazing practices that, among other benefits, reverse climate change by rebuilding soil organic matter and restoring degraded soil biodiversity - resulting in both carbon drawdown and improving the water cycle. reNature believes that nature and agriculture can cooperate instead of competing. We also believe that farmers and local communities across...

The Amazonia is Burning #actforamazonia
มุมมอง 1475 ปีที่แล้ว
There is a solution. We don't need to burn the forest to produce food and make money. By applying Agroforestry systems to our food and fiber production we do not drain the soil. We do not need to expand our field. We can increase the yield per hectare and improve the farmer's economic resilience. Agroforestry mimics nature by using detailed knowledge of each plant, shrub, and tree. Find out mor...

Excelente conteúdo, mas as resposta sobre as alternativas viáveis é bastante dúbia. E não existe fórmula pronta. Tanto que na pergunta formulada por um agricultor as respostas foram teóricas e sem profundidade.
