I will definitely be donating. I do wonder (as I look at the go fund me page) if most potential supporters need more information on what you mean by Mental Health issue--I have a good idea of what you mean from past videos you've made (which I believe were lost by youtube) and the ways in which those issues intersect with my own family. Other's may not be sure what you specifically mean about Mental Health issues, so I'd suggest including some general areas of concern/examples (for instance, chonic Clinical Depression, Schizophrenia, Manic Depression) and what you mean in terms of raising awareness (I'm guessing such issues as access to support services and care, understanding treatment possibilities, offsetting isolation of victims and their families, funding support organizations etc) These are just my off the top of my head examples. I guess what I'm saying is develop and refine an on point, up front message that will quickly get readers or viewers on target of what your core goals and issues are. By the way the link in the description to go fund me wasn't working properly--led to a dead page.

Going to announce this on Blast it or Stash It this Friday! Really great mission ur on! My grandmother had serious mental illness issues and back then they treated the mentally ill VERY horribly. In addition to having PTSD, I've lost ALOT of my military buds to suicide due to PTSD so great cause, really! Will do whatever I can to help!

Great message, Don! I feel like telling a short (hopefully) story about a video I saw here on TH-cam a while ago, about a girl posting a video were she was crying and practicly begged for someone to talk to her, because she felt so lonely and depressed over not having anyone to talk to. It was really painful to watch her having to beg for someone to talk to her, because it shouldn't have to be like that. You shouldn't have to feel so alone that you end up feeling depressed and lonely, not in a world filled with billions of people. Think about it for a second. What if you had absolutely nobody to talk to. Nobody to listen to you. Your life would feel so empty and hopeless, and in the end it could do something to your mind that could push you into doing the unthinkable... What Im trying to say here is that a simple "hello, how are you?" or a smile can meen the world to a person that has mental health issues. One simple gesture that could potentially save someones life. The way I see it, mental health issues are as serious as a heart attack, and should not be brushed away as a thing that doesn't matter. Don't be afraid to talk to someone about it. Don't be afraid to talk to someone with mental health issues. Be a listener to someone who needs to talk. And more importanly, be the light in someones darkness...

Great video! Really nice weather today, for both you and me, guys. 40 degrees celsius in the sun here, and Im huffing and puffing like a dog LOL! To bad about that camper-van though... Would be great for your trip, as you wouldn't have to worry about setting up a tent or look for a room to stay in every night. But you can't be expected to fix up a camper-van in exchange for borrowing it. It costs money to do, and the entire goal of your trip is to make it with as little or no money as possible, so Im not sure who would do who a favor on that deal. A nice thought though :) But if anyone out there (in Ireland) that watches this video do have a camping trailer or van that they are willing to lend out next year, it would be a nice donation in itself to lend it out for the sake of this cause :) I wish a I lived in Ireland and had one myself, because I'd let you have it for this trip of your :)
