Ha ! on a crate . I would lift the rear end up and pull the motor out and slide her back in ....

No matter what people think clodbuster or usa 1 just get both, I'm starting a collection about to get a usa 1 which is really awesome looking! I just turned 23 an I'll eventually get a clod but I want the realistic Ness of both trucks, I'm winning a usa 1 on ebay an I'll use an take good care of it, then get a clod later on, i don't care what people think is better there both great trucks...period, also history with rc monster trucks like the marui big bear

I mounted the gearbox to the engine and install the starter. Was the easiest thing to do.

I hope that's not the top speed, my 40hp could do that. I had a tired 1600dp with 30/31pict and it would go over 85 easily. Fastest I ever went was in the 90s, but that was downhill.

You can always make parts yourself you know... Got to say i even bash my Nitro version of the USA 1 LOL i have a 90% complete chassis for parts and 5 USA1's in mint condition. Its funny how cheap i bought them and to see how much they are worth right now in perfect condition. However i just can't sell them.. to beautiful.

what do you think the top speed of this motor can do the stock 1600 sp

@1974volkswagenbeetle A 1600 engine with a single carb gives you roughly 50 hp, so I reckon this is about 53 hp and with a dual carb you should get 65, maybe 70..

@tazkyle1993 exhuast might be bent just thinking out loud lol loud 3 out of the 4 vw engines i have don't have exhuast on them there just sittin there waiting to be put in somthing

I suggest getting rid of the EMPI and get the Tri-Mil it's trying to knock off.

@BRMN8R using ultra bright white LEDs (5mm, 3v, 10000mcd) and a LD 1117 3v voltage regulator. Gives you always 3volt regardless the input. I used resistors first but it won't give you a stable 3v output especially when you accelerate.

Very cool! I have just acquired a USA-1 EP and am restoring the old girl. it already had the pink Mega Motor's, so have installed ball bearings and greased up all the suspension arms and steering linkages and stuck a better steering servo in it, but it's still running the rear steer aswell, and also the mechanical speed control. I have a restored 87 clod, a bullhead, and a txt-1, and this truck is a completely different animal! I really enjoyed your video! What are you using to run the lights?
