This is the final session 'Session 11' in a series of training webinars about producing a Systematic Review.
By the end of the * IMPACT Systematic Review Webinar Series * participants will:
▪ Have an understanding of the importance of systematic reviews and their role in health/social care policy, practice, and decision making.
▪ Have an understanding of the individual steps of the SR process and their importance.
▪ Have the skills to plan and conduct their own SR of interventions, including basic literature searching and meta-analytic knowledge.
▪ Be aware of key web-based resources to support the planning and delivery of systematic reviews.
Session 11 (recorded on 3 December 2020) was the final session discussing WRITE-UP, REPORTING & KNOWLEDGE TRANSLATION.
Learning outcomes:
- Understanding how to write up and report a systematic review
- Introduction to knowledge translation
- Familiar with different approaches to evidence dissemination

    The link to systematic reviews toolbox is not working any more is it? I tried multiple different ways but cant get to the toolbox. Could you suggest any update or may be a change is the web address to the tool box please?

      PRISMA is not the best tool for appraising systematic reviews - it's a reporting guideline so will only tell you only whether a review met PRISMA reporting criteria.

    I think they need to standardized prerequisites for trials, stratified by nutritional status. Is this medicine useful for people who have an i sufficient diet? Is it useful for people whose blood test shows they don't have any deficiencies? EDIT: Seems obvious that the trials should be paid for by the companies that make the meds, but not conducted by them.

      Sorry - we can't provide ongoing support as we have no resources to do this. You might find the following article helpful - Furuya-Kanamori L, Xu C, Hasan SS, Doi SA. Quality versus Risk-of-Bias assessment in clinical research. J Clin Epidemiol. 2021 Jan;129:172-175. doi: 10.1016/j.jclinepi.2020.09.044. PMID: 33422267. You will see that, although these terms are often use interchangeably, they are not really the same.

    For structured literature review, can I do cross sectional study? If yes, then which quality assessment tool should I use? As the video says there are no specific one.

    I've a question! Can you please tell how we can deal with missing SD for meta analysis of continues data? If we don't have any other clue to get it for example p value, t value or standard error?
