Good evening. I have been watching your video with a great deal of interesting information about UK brands and I wanted to share my thoughts on it. For the past few years, I have been trying to assemble an entry-level stamp collection of Machins. We don't have a lot of these in Russia, but friends from other countries have helped me. With their assistance, I have already amassed about 50% of this collection.

Good morning, I'm from the UK and I'm sorry but I think our 'Royal Mail' have messed things up for stamp collectors by being greedy and gradually increasing the amount of comemmoratives issued each year plus, as you say, not just first class but putting stamps up to a tremendous value. Like you I only collect used stamps and ceased with commems in 2010, I still get given used by friends and now put them in the back of the book. I have 1000's of stamps that I can't or don't want to sell, if you need any dates or commems up to 2010 please let me know and I will send them if I have them. Thanks for the video better than I've seen anywhere else. take care, UK Ray

What a great presentation! I’ll have to take another look at my Hungary stamps. I also now want to look into how people survived under such awful inflation. Thank you.

Crazy!!!!! I can just not imagine how any postal services could eventually be executed or afforded! Mind boggling! Did the stamp collectors buying up those impossibly high rate stamps bought the stamps at face value? How did they afford it? Thanks, very interesting presentation!

The Royal Mail seems to have a pretty complex pricing system. It is amazing (or sad) that illegal activities, like counterfeiting of stamps, always is present and need to be compensated for in a system. Thanks for the video and information!

Thanks for the video. I aim to play about 5% catalog on larger purchases, for lots were I am spending $100 plus. Bigest purchase was about $2000 for collection cataloging at around $120,000. I will be working on these stamps for a long time to come. I guess I say this to say don't overpay. I do fill in on high value small lots or individual up to about 25% on occasion. Still seems better to save up and buy larger lots.
