Nice to see Baji being worked in with grappling.
Thanks! I think grappling is very natural part of Baji, it's where you mostly end up when entering quickly into your opponents space. For us of course it should lead to "punching down" the opponent. But for that you need to have your angles and timing perfectly tuned in, so grappling is nice development bridge into that.
Nice
Wow. Amazing.
Thank you. Very clear.
passionate like every baji practitioner. Ive been following youre baji style and lou bachoun´s too, very particular because of the emphasys on the wavy movements, on the fajin and on what you say about "first is the structure, then the hitting" or something like that (others pay more attention to the stomping and hitting, wich y fell quite uncomfortable or less usefull, specialy in techniques such as the chang quan or long fist, mapu movements). I practice baji from the wang family, looks different but I think we meet at the essence. I hope my english its understandable, I send my respects form argentina, thaks for uploading your knowledge, this video was particularly intresting for me! Without further ado, bao quan li.
Thank you sir! Probably the most important lesson i've learned from my sifu Lü Baochun is to always look at things from the perspective of reality, not style or system. In Chinese martial arts too many times people reflect reality through their system, and not reflect the system through reality as one should in martial arts.
Great explanations!😃
Very clearly explained. Thanks for sharing!
Very good !

oooh yeah man. I'm now subcribed to your channel! Thank's for the inspiration!
Fantastic! Thank you for sharing 😃
That was insane. Perfect encapsulation of sinking slow power and relaxation, great fajin and great flow👌👌
Dance?
Not good
Good video! I am going to watch"em all!
Very good video! I anm your new subscriber. Greetings from Poland!
Thank you for subscribing! Greetings from a snowy Finland :)
You are welcomed!
Can you make a video about the "big form"? I've been searching for a long time, but I haven't found a complete one
Hello! Well here is our da jia, it's just missing the last part which is the same sequence as end part of xiao jia th-cam.com/video/H0xzwusqix0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ti6IWK9F-APrOsJj
Hey. We filmed Miika doing the big form some years ago when he visited London. th-cam.com/video/H0xzwusqix0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=FM-JdUBWTA6Geynd

hi baji wasa! :-) can i write you an email to know info on you and on your baji style? can you write me your email ? thank you
Very good applications! 🙏
打一不打二,打二必打三?
Yes, usually you need the "second" to make a good "third/finisher". Sometimes of course you can go straight to "third", if your opponent is less skilled than you
can you talk about the big form?
Great!
Hi, nice lessons! :-) Can you explain better the animals associated witch each movement? (maybe useful to write in the description the animal associated with?) :-) thank you
That's a very good idea. But the animals are very unorganised, some movement has no animal attached to it, some have several different ones. I might do a series of bonus clips, after i finally get the whole form on video, about topics like this.
@@miikawikberg5627 thank you, great. It will be very helpful
I love how there's baji pigua and xingyi in these movements
Nice good job. If i may say something... i noticed in my sparring that elbow like that is hard to use if enemy is farther away. What would u use to close the gap in this technique?
Check my videos on stepping and tiger head, those are the usual problems. Another usual factor is trying to use it in places where it does not fit in. Your opponent needs to put some power and intent into their attack, otherwise you will just be running into counter-punches.
Baji Wasa thx i will check it out. Btw i liked your footwork. I felt many show baji as slow. Its more like the boxers footwork👍
@@dayman161172 thanks! Our footwork is the legacy and interpretation of my sifu Lü Baochun. There is no traditional reason why Baji should have dead legs
Impressive!
Awesome!! Will you be able to application video on Da Jia form?
you might have to wait a bit for that, not on the agenda this season. Maybe sometimes in the future
Xiao Jia 2
Xiao jia 1, in Lü Baochuns line. It is based on old xiao jia, before any 2,3 and so was created
@@miikawikberg5627 ahh, i think i dont learn the same line ;). for me it is Xiao Jia 2 but a little different
You are terrifying.
My favorite application of Baji
Im in love.
Your form is so beautiful. Definitely checking out your other vids. Thank god I found reddit.
Epic! I have lot of training to do to be able to bring this kind of power! Crisp, sharp, powerful!
Nice and relaxed - and shows how to progress to training it with protection, at close to fight speed. Keep it up!
