Ijust found 1/4 inside diameter braided Fuel line 3 foot for less than 5 bucks in 2024 and o also found some chrome scree clamps with covers for 4 bucks. All you need now is a hacksaw and black tape and a measuring tape maybe. Sometimes it's easier than you think
id like to change the fuel line ends with QD's so i dont have to drain the tank every time i need to work on the heads...along with that the o-rings get flat and start to leak ....fun design...cheers
Thank you for that video! I have a 1997 FLHTPI, police bike and just ordered the new braided lines for it. You are right, no other videos on how to mount engine side of those lines! So what I learned there are two o rings rather than a copper washer as I thought in mounting, as well as snap ring.
My question is, I need to replace the rubber fuel line from the petcock to the carburetor. Can I just shut the petcock off and remove the rubber line without draining the fuel tank. ?

I have a 2000 model but using a 99 fuel tank so I'm probably going to have to change the 2000 lines to 99 lines
Do you have to remove the head
Thanks broo
How do you remove the fuel line? I got the snap ring off and tried to pry it up but it didn't budge and I didn't wanna break anything.

Do they have any fitments for that

Thanks for posting this. You just saved me a ton of stress trying to figure out how them fuel lines mounted into the manifold. 👍🏽👍🏽
where can i find the new fuel lines?
Just look up HDFL-005. My bike is a 1997 FLHTPI. Got this part number from Harley dealership.
How did you get the new lines on. Finger pressure or a tool?
Thanks Nate! Your video answered my question about getting the fuel line off after removing the snap ring! I appreciate the info!

Very nice. Appreciate the video. I'm actually looking at replacing both fuel injectors. Trying to find a good video to watch before starting.
