The 18 has more power because little more compression but also a better intake manifold and air intake as well as slightly better heads and cams all together make the difference (as well as dual fuel) but once you put a good intake manifold on these older coyotes as well as l&m intake only cams (which helps get the most from the intake manifold upgrade and visa versa and has 0 loss in torque or driveability) then power isnt far off between the two and if youre comparing manual to manual the 15-17 has much better gearing and stronger shift forks to boot. You will need a better clutch for the older ones but all in all theyre just as capable for less money and look better to me. If you throw boost at em the gen 2 is just as capable if not even more capable than the gen 3. It can make alot and take alot of power. The gen 2 was the sweet spot for the coyote for me.

I have since added a blower.. It made the car louder and it is pushing 700 to the tires. I will have to do a new video with the blower

Yes, the norm for a full bolt on 15/16 is 7.5 to 7.9. I wanted to get a few runs in before my blower install.. I was happy with the results.. I will say this track is a little faster than some.. Went to another track the next week and ran 7.7 to 8.0 all night.. Dr's where pretty bad off.. Could not hook like I wanted.

+william cook - I think people get used to driving their cars. I think more of the change is just getting used to the sound itself.. I recommend the h-pipe, gives it more of a muscle car sound imo... I get complements every time I take it to the track.. People in Mustangs, Camaro's and Challengers.. They want to know what mufflers they can run for that aggressive race car sound.. I told them they would have to buy a Mustang to get that sound!LOL.. Then I told them to go with full SW exhaust.. You cannot go wrong....
