As a long time Pat Benatar fan, she does sound a lot like her mother. YET....in saying that, I don't think she's using her voice in a way her mom had. Yes, Pat Benatar had some serious vocals. Songs like, 'Hell Is For Children' and even 'Heartbreaker' were songs where her voice was strong. Pat Benatar had feeling, soul and heart within her voice. She felt it and the listener felt it. I think, seriously if her daughter applied that, put feeling behind her voice with strength and heart, she could go pretty far. But, singing a song about F-ing someone up....ummmm, no. Shes just....singing. There's no emotion. And even IF there was? Not many people would be memorized. It wouldn't grab you. No doubt the potential is definitely there...but, its not being applied in the right direction. Just sayn
