to me this song feels like an older sibling offering you advice about life. i love that after the line about watching his daughter Rosie's first dance performance you can hear him chanting her nickname in the background ('Ro, Ro, Ro'). tyler said he wrote this song for their fans, to let them know how he's doing and how he got to this pojnt in his journey. fans often comment that josh is always doing all the work in their music videos so him running with the pipes was another funny play on that.

You’re right about the songs being shorter, in fact the whole album is a few songs short of what they normally release… which brings many fans to believe that there’s a deluxe version of the album coming up with some more singles. Great reaction dude, can’t wait for you to get to paladin strait, it’s a helluva video!

not my favourite on the album but this song has grown a lot on me since the album first dropped. tyler said he feels very defensive and protective of thsi song because he thinks it will be overlooked by a lot of people. the lyrics seem very personal to him and the visuals of him being alone in his garage really fit with that. the lines about 'running from a thing i kicked in '17' and 'thought i'd kicked it, it's a new adaptation' i think might be a reference to the return of Blurryface (blurryface album cycle finished in 2017 but the colour red and the black paint has started returning on stage since the last album cycle).

Ok, so…just to be clear, I’m not one of those people who seem to believe that it you have an opinion that doesn’t align with their, that your just wrong or a hater or some other nonsense. So just know that any criticisms that I voice here, have absolutely nothing to do with our deferring opinions. But instead I’m just trying to wrap my head around the notion that you are seemingly baffled by both the song and video🤨 It’s as if you have absolutely no understanding of the concept of “FUN” oss 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ I mean like seriously tho…it’s as if the whole idea that someone could actually make a song &/or music video that isn’t some grand metaphor or deeper meaning. this is one of my faourite videos they've done. so simple but such a creative idea and i've never seen another video with this concept. tyler went on google to find stores with the same name as the lyrics and could find most of them except Lavish so they thought it was funny to have shops that almost spelt it. They were saving a lot of their budget for the final music video on the album so most of the videos have a small crew and are filmed locally around their own city. this song seems to be poking fun of the industry and how fake a lot of it is and has a lot of references to their experience of winning a grammy. they are wearing similar suits that they wore to the award shows and tyler joked about josh's feet hurting in his dress shoes and said they both feel out of place at those events. they also took their pants off when they went onstage.

Ugh. NGL, it’s hard to listen to a review from someone who isn’t a big fan and doesn’t really know what’s going on with them as a group and their lore. No offense to you at all. But, certainly wouldn’t watch again as a hardcore top fan. Josh is a cool MF. He’s doing exactly what he should in this video. lol. Watch their livestream if you want insight and background as to the locations and such. Thanks for trying! Probably too different from your fav Eminem to fully appreciate imo.

Ok dude so like……don’t get it twisted here, but I don’t care who you are, or how good you are at pulling meaning from lyrics or whatever…and I also know that pauses are necessary for quite a few reasons, such as copyright purposes or just to be able to say something before you forget it or other such reasons. BUT!!! Doing so roughly every 5 seconds(or less at times) is not only jarring but also detrimental to your own viewing/listening purposes my dude! 🤦‍♀️ I mean like seriously tho…idc how “good” or “experienced” you are at reviewing/judging/dissecting music &/or lyrics ffs! You listening to 3 words /5 seconds then pausing just feel like slightly overdoing it a bit no?🤨 I mean sure do that “after” you’ve heard it once already . Btw…my slight concern with all the pausing has absolutely zero to do with “me” wanting to hear the song oss…as all I’m concerned with is that “you” are able to truly understand/enjoy/appreciate the songs meaning and vibe that was intended by them. But then again, all this is just my opinion really. I’m just a very long time fan of theirs who absolutely loved watching reactions to this music that means a lot to me…but I’m not “that” fan that gets upset if the reactor doesn’t “like” it. this is different to the version on the album, same lyrics but different instrumentation, i think i prefer this one with the drums and little whistles in the background. tyler said he wrote the song about the start of his relationship with his wife. the music video reminds me of the process of creating anything artistic, you put all this passion and time into a project and then when you share it to other people they might not like it or could interpret it differently to what you intended. i listened to the album for the first time at midnight last night and absolutely loved it!
