RHT2017
Here is a short video of our race down Baja in Rally Historico Transpeninsular 2017. Rob Miller driving. Mitch Gray navigating. Steve Strupp turning the wrenches.
We were 2nd in class (Historic C) and 3rd overall. Days two and three we were 1 minute off of the leader for the day and we beat him by 30 seconds on day 4 but his lead was too great for us to overtake him.
Our top speed was 136 mph on the mountain roads of Baja. Great event event that is growing and getting better all the time.
Thanks to Tyler Fields for editing the video.

Great story. Now I know! Look up humble in the dictionary and you will see a picture of Mark Dismore. 60 years a friend and counting.
I’m a new owner of an Aerovault. What a fantastic trailer. The whole team at Aerovault couldn’t have treated me better. Thanks Peter, Gail and Devin.
What a great idea and most suitable product. WTG, Peter!!! 👍🏻
I need more info
Amy idea what #number GT350-H this is?

How many hours exactly?
Most popular racing engine in Japan is KT100cc. Tends to get a bit sluggish on hot racing days after especially on the turns. Any way around this?
I started lay down road racing with these engines I ran light and heavy classes at each event .

I have a kt100 as well and it works perfectly, but when I put it on the floor it stops running and it doesn't starts rolling. Does anybody know why?
Adjust your clutch or idle
Do these motors use oil for the crank case? I don't see a drain plug at the bottom.
@Dartgame 340 lol. Not a troll question. All 2 strokes that i've worked on have a wet clutch and gears in the bottom crank case. Like the rm85- rm250, yz85-yz250, cr85- cr250, and kx85-kx250. They all carry one quart of motor oil in the crank case to lube up clutch disk, gears, and crank..
convert yamaha KT100 walbro carburetor ,it works.. Simple & cheap. 👉 th-cam.com/video/PrbflPVfCRc/w-d-xo.html
Can the kart work without the can? I’m thinking about taking it off
One fell off at my club and it still ran. It’s already stupid loud dude
@@Gaven.degenhardt.racing I can imagine lol it’s already loud as is😂. But I’m thinking about taking mines off and put something else
@@Gaven.degenhardt.racing lmao this happened to me back in 2018 and it was VERY loud and I got disqualified
Always make sure to tighten the exhaust bracket nut periodically
I heard recently the engine will no longer be in production.
Looking for advice. How do I set the gap on my kt100 between pickup coil and flywheel and what to set it at
Business card
And then the 206 B&S came along and killed off he KT100. Sad. Now B&S is chapter 11
We used to buy stuff from Diz(Marks Dad) when he was still in his house garage. My grandfather worked with Diz at Western Electric. Started racing karts in 1966. Marks a good guy.
I have been searching for days for you guys, not knowing it ,you watch the channels and they talk about tearing down engines every race , maintenance over n over , and engines $$$$ this is what I was looking for , I’m in search of a home track to cut my teeth on . And I would love to find good people like you in our area. . I’m in New Jersey and no Motorsport allowed except 200 miles away ...Millville I’m a newbie to karts and it’s been daunting , I don’t have 10,000 I have mor like 1500$ and that took me along time to save , knowing that I could get a quality engine make some feel great ..and gave me hope again to get the back rolling , and trust me I will be buying my first engine Without a single doubt . I’ll be on the website after this .......thank you for this video
Brad, it's been over 5 years since I lost you from my life and it broke something inside me. My heart and soul will never again be the same. I miss you so much it still hurts, but I can't let go, I will never let go of what we had together. I still can't believe how tragically your life ended, and how it came to be as it was. Evil may have taken you down, but I know in my heart your spirit is up high. Thank you for being a part of my angel family. I love you always and forever, Rhonda. Thank you for this memorial clip, Brad would have appreciated you for this!
Buenas noches don Miller una consulta ese motor de puede instalar en una bicicleta
I traveled all the way from Iowa to come down to be a part of the corner working team. Hands down some of the nicest, down to earth, generous people I've met in over 25 years being a part of kart racing. Rob, I hope you put together another race soon! We are waiting to come back to see my Texas race family
Mark I think you were our instructor at Phoenix raceway Bondurant's Lap the Oval school circa 1991.
Do you know where I could get a kt100 starter nut that goes on in front of the clutch
I just bought a used cart with this engine for my son. How do I tell what carb it has. Also, the threads on the crank shaft where the starter nut thread on is stripped. What’s the best way to repair this. I started filing the threads but as I get closer to the end the metal is pretty mashed. Can I get away with cutting the end off to the clean threads?
Fired up quitter
where can i find a coil for one?
Zeta Assassin how about comet kart sales? Ever think of that?
that hilti drill, probably cost more than 2 of the engines combined
I've been to New Castle Motorsports Park a bunch of times. My brother Jeff worked for Mark Dismore for about 10 years. Back in the day, I met a very young Joseph Newgarden there. Jeff said to keep an eye on Joseph as he had real talent and would be a major auto racing star in the future. Jeff was obvious right. By the way, that's Interstate 70 in the background. NCMSP is at the intersection of I 70 & Indiana Route 3.
That´s why the name of the porshe carrera because the "carrera panamericana"
How much is a new clutch for a kt100
Around $300 new
Lord have mercy, I was buying RLV's pipe of the week back in the early 90's LOL and yes Mr. Harrison at Comet was my engine builder
Mark have you had any luck in locating a Pit Shirt from The Doc's Hi Tech days. If you could say no or OK, so I can put this subject to bed.
Óh the bread it is burned kkkkkkk
So um pouco
Great video. Would have liked an overview of the equipment used.
Just two simple Go Pro Hero Cameras.
I meant the car! As the owner of a Shelby 1965 clone it interests me about the VEHICLE equipment used.
Other than some modern safety upgrades like the roll cage it is a fairly accurate recreation of a Group 2 car - small block, 4 speed top loader, Watts link, etc.
Mark I owned DOC'S HI TECH in 1991. I was the sponsor of your car you were driving when you had the wreck at Indy. Could you drop me a line and let me know if there is any place I could get one of the Pit Shirts that the crew wore. If you would email me at gary.sigritz@att.net. Thanks..and good luck Gary Sigritz
slow poke! isnt so slow
does anyone know what the best gear ratio set up for yamaha 100s motor is? I am new to Karting and just purchased a senior Arrow AX9 go kart frame with 11×7.10-5 rear racing tires on a 50mm rear axel I am purchasing the yamaha 100s motor next week, though not sure what gear set up to use, I want good take of speed and best max speed I could get out of for performance. I weigh around 98kg
Anchialem Gale i can help you
That gear ratio will change from track to track & whether your running road courses or dirt & asphalt tracks also tire size. . Best to ask the leaders in your class for a reference & your engine builder as well . The rest will come from your practice time & record keeping. I ran Enduros with WKA & Woodbridge Kart Club at Summit Point for 15 years so there are many factors as what gear ratio to run at what track your at. There is no one set ratio.
It is best to ask around the track paddock what people are using some don't want you to know some will tell you I run 10:86 ratio on my kt100 but my track i drive at has a long straight so I go big on the rear sprocket
i feel like its gonna blow when i have it running
i own a kt100 kart but idk if they are supposed to be really loud or if the engine is just accelerated i would say but pushing down the brakes does not stop the wheels from moving
They are just stupid loud
Where Could I Buy A Clutch?
Omar Cruz how about comet kart sales? Ever think of that?
Here is the link to Peter's Website. Lots of cool stuff here for car lovers. www.bre2.net/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY...
