@@D-TVDomino_Toy88 no it takes lipo 2S or lipo 3S battery's, it's a very powerful lithium baterry basically 😉

Hey mate, I had a 2014 duke R was the most fun bike Ive had over 30+ years of riding, am currently about to get another, these bikes are so much fun, afforable and reliable. you have a good way of presenting, keep it up.

Replace the shocks , took care of the problem for me , heavier springs and adjustability on shocks , sounds like you are bottoming out the chassis , get heat sink/fan from Traxxas , motors run hot to , after that I love my Stampede
@@sandycraven what shocks and heat sink are you running because she gets hot quick with the 18 tooth pinion...
@@J.D.Y.BI have an integy heat sink with dual fans and Traxxas gtr shocks;blue rated springs in back black rated springs in front…works well
@@Freakeye_RC I've ordered a heat sink and fan, and I'm trying the shocks off of my DHK zombie, there a bit big but seem to be holding up, video should be out tonight or tomorrow 😉, apart from the shocks this truck is an absolute beast

My dad has the rustler with the 12 turn motor, was thinking about buying him this truck cause he wants something quicker. I think I am cause this thing looks quick.
Yer really nice truck really strong and fast, stock it has a 14 tooth pinion and i just released a video of it with a 18 tooth pinion on the skate park.. really wakes the truck up, not that it needs it 😅
This one looks pretty cool. I have the maxx and that thing is lots of fun.

@@J.D.Y.B the stampede looks nice. Thinking about getting it to run in backyard. The maxx is more of a tough vehicle without all the wheelies. That’s what kind of worries me about the stampede is too much wheeling. The bigrock 1/10 from arrma looks really like an almost perfect style of vehicle except I just don’t want to be fixing something all the time.

@@J.D.Y.B yeah easy to work on too. I got 2 of them about 15 years ago for me and my son we had a blast with them. I wanted to race and bash but he just wanted to bash so about 5 years ago I got 3 more so that I can race and bash with friends and we would all have the same car. All are vxl. I'm contemplating getting some more

@@J.D.Y.B I like to race and have everyone with the exact same setup. Thinking about getting one of the lap timers. The package has 10 transponders, so that is my dream to have 10 of the same car

@@J.D.Y.B sounds like the chain is a bit clackety. I know they're noisy motors and you can't get too anal about weird noises but when you started up it sounded exactly like mine used to. I whipped the stock CCT out and dropped a manual one in and it made a massive difference.

Hi Sam, I'm keen on getting a Duke 690 R after almost a year commuting on a CBX 250 Twister. What's your advice? Is it a good by and what would benefit me in the long run?
Hey Brandon, I really like the 690 duke, such a fun bike that said I wouldn't want to do long rides on her though.. depends how far you're commuting I guess. If you can find one at a good price with low mileage I would definitely go for it 😉

@@brandonpatzold7367 depends, long rides on little roads is fine but like long rides like over 1 hour on the highway is painful because of the vibrations, no I take it to my ktm dealership

T’es d’où en France? J’ai un 690 aussi j’essaye d’apprendre les wheelings mais j’ai du mal à tenir quand ça tire les bras à l’accélération j’ai l’impression de pas contrôler alors que quand je mets gaz en grand les deux roues à plat je tiens facilement la bécane…
Salut dans le 16 vers limoges, tu a essayé les wheelings avec embrayage ou tu utilise juste la puissance de la moto? Moi je trouve qu'avec l'embrayage c'est plus facile, après faut juste beaucoup s'entraîner...
@@J.D.Y.B Ouais avec embrayage ça lève mieux déjà mais j’ai du mal à mettre le coup de gaz, sûrement l’appréhension Je parlais surtout à l’accélération c’est brutal

@@Thomas-jg1hy oui sa peut être un peut brutale le mono mais avec le temps ça va le faire, si tu a l'occasion d'acheter un dirt ou une motocross est d'apprendre la dessus c'est toujours plus safe, et moin chère si tu te retourne
