Compared to other trios of Haydn, in which the treble part adds only expression to the "right hand" of the pianoforte, we have here an actual dialog between the two trble parts. This is magnificent. It is based upon the firm bass part consolidared by the cello.

I consider this trio as the best chamber music written by Weber, including the clarinet quintet, which is written like the reduction of a concerto - not in the spirit of chambe music. Here, Weber had to put in light the flute and the cello, but he could not forget that he was a pianist - hence a convincing equilibrium of the three instruments.

wow - the colours he gets are amazing - the song like interludes are unusually lyrical Of the dozens on TH-cam, this performance has got to be one of the most musical and inspiring.

Agree with Ma. One of Weber's more impressive chamber works played with feeling and commitment. Good pacing; great dynamics. Nothing not to like! Bravo!

Beautiful interpretation!!. I liked the opening staccatos on the piano as well as the entry of the cello. There is enough pace and pause to enjoy the beauty of the piece. Great intonation on the cello. The musicians themselves are enjoying it. Unhurried and relaxed. Brilliantly executed.
