I though there was no daylight in Tromsø in December? As I see in the video there is a little bit if I am not mistaken. Can you tell me more about this, I am planning to go soon :)
There isn’t any sun, but they do have dawn for about 2 hours a day. Enjoy your trip!

Yeah! We Saw it 2 times!! At the first evening we already saw it! And also on New Years evening!!

@@serhiisuprun2548 we didn’t used a aurora app, we stayed at Camping de Tromso in Trømsdalen, that’s really close to tromso

What camera did you use for the photos/videos? I'm going in a month and I'm worried that my camera won't be good enough to capture the northern lights and just the landscape in general in such low lighting. I have a Nikon D3300 with the standard lens it came with.
Molly Bookner my camera I used for the videos is the Nikon Coolpix P900. For the photos in the video the tour company’s camera was used. Mine wasn’t good enough for the photos, because it’s still a compact camera and I wasn’t able to change the settings in a degree necessary for the lights. But I was able to make a nice time lapse. Hope this helps!

Jonathan Roig Hi there! I went during the middle of December and it was amazing! It will be short days but that has a certain beauty to it. The companies and trips you can de are arranged around the hours of light to make the most of it! Good luck and enjoy!

It's a magical place and the people are wonderful. You need deep pockets eating out though, and don't go there just for the northern lights, more often than not you'll be disappointed - they have overcast days as much as anyone!
I’m heading to Tromsø in February. Can you recommend any other areas nearby to visit?
King Kenny I only really visited Oslo, and Tromsø (where I did a tour). I stayed in Drammen the longest, studied there for 4 months.

King Kenny I was in the area of Tromsø for a couple of days and did this tour: www.greengoldofnorway.com/booking/rooms/59812332-33c3-4d7f-87fc-c49a723a7b01 It was a whale watching and aurora tour, and it was pretty amazing! That was the only thing I did in the north of Norway. Hope this helps!
