APPLE SHOULD MAKE A STYLUS FOR THE iPhone 6S PLUS
The World has changed. After you finish your Harvard Degree you should IMMEDIATELY start Electrician training. And when you are doing the repairs for the AI robots your Software Engineering knowledge will come in handy.
I just might 🤷🏽♂
Learn elixir and all the superpowers of the beam.
I'll check it out. Are you using this in your apps?
This is 🔥
Planning on some really dope stuff this year 😎😭🙌🏽
I was here before the fame Never forget

Yo your videos are the truth bro
@@joeyd6366 appreciate you brother man 🙏🏽 ❤️
Subscribed bro! Love your motivational speeches and rants about coding, the industry and personal motivational goals. All good stuff. I can relate to so much of it. Lol
lol thanks bro. Hope to help and inspire some people along the way 🙏🏽
Hi there! I'd really want to know what subject to major in if I want to become a data analyst or a software engineer or whatever tech job that has high pays. Math vs. Physics vs. Statistics vs. CS, any recommendations?
So if you want to be a data analyst, I would recommend going to a local bootcamp and getting the basic skills to see if this is a path you like. Then I would recommend you to go major in Data Science, that will set you up nicely to work for a big company. If you choose software engineer, you can get started with something online like Free Code Camp but it's self paced and will require a lot of discipline. Either way, I would probably still get a CS degree which will help you get a lot of the theory, which will make your transition into software engineering much easier. Both degrees are under the STEM umbrella, so you will take math, and science classes.
@@argenistherose Thank you so much for the thorough explanation! Roger that!
This is my mindset, give value and the market will respond. Sadly what i studied i coudlnt practice but i said many times to my coding friends that if i knew code or liked it i would be practicing a lot bc with a pc is basically free
Literally, time is the only cost. Which a lot of people will usually get tired if they’re not making money. That’s why I preach don’t do this for money.
motivation is the key. Have a motive for action will get you where you wanna be. We can involve discipline for set the time for action and so on, but have a reason to do what you have to do will level you up. About job opportunity there is a way that few ppl look at, the way is: What you will contribute for the company. What you will aggregate in a positive way. In order to achieve that, you have to build and work on your own projects that contains any values or solve a real problem in a real world
Building solutions even at a small scale that a company is facing will easily get your foot in the door. There are so many ways you can show a company your worth by doing this and all it takes is talking to the right people. Your mind is in the right place mate 💪🏽
Facts bro, this is how I approach life now. Take action and get shit done. Solid video, my guy! 💪🏾

Really appreciate that bro! It’s not easy for a player out here. And dope, Lowell isn’t too far. Stay in touch if anything 🙏🏽
yo man just wanna say you’re like the david goggins of tech. i just graduated with a BS in CS last month but i’ve continued grinding on projects everyday to build my skills up as a full stack dev. whenever I feel like taking a break i remind myself there’s people like you putting in the work, keeps me motivated and inspired fr. respect your grind bro 🫡

sure, my classes are remote.
Having a long term mindset is definitely important in the software engineering field. It’s difficult to get that first job but once you break in the sky is the limit. I have been working as a software engineer for 6 years now and still learning new things. Keep a positive mindset, work hard and enjoy the journey.
nice man, same I got started around 6-7 years ago. Pandemic really messed things up, but just staying positive is key 🔑
keep going bro you can do it!
Appreciate you man, see you’re a fellow iOS developer as well 👏🏽
@@argenistherose heck yea bro ☕!
Best of luck! I'm ready to graduate from HES.
You got this! 💪🏽
I have been a developer for years, but this year I am doing investments and seeing where it will lead me, maybe do some complimentary development around it, as much as a I love development, the whole politics, interviews, tests etc is a meeeeess, and I kinda just wanna work for myself at this point. It does not seem to me you have a hard code skill issue, maybe you could talk to someone about how to better market yourself? I know it might not sound nice but I mean it the best way possible, someone like you should have no problems landing something amazing.
I truly appreciate that man. I talk about investing as well in my recent video and I think you definitely need to diversify your income without a doubt. I am pushing myself this year to see what I can land. Best of luck on your journey mate.
So, wait. What J-term class are you taking? CS, for the non-degree candidates, is not an option.
Great question. They require 3 classes before acceptance into the degree program. Currently I’m taking the Intro to Academic Writing for the J term. I have the Math and follow up to the Writing course in the spring term. After, that I can focus on my major. They do summer classes. I’m considering on taking all the prerequisites first to focus on my major after. The goal is to get my masters.

what's up mate
If im starting i dont care too much on how much they pay me, but 2-3 years down the road, yes i am in for the money
I think money is important but I mean it shouldn’t be why you like the field. There are easier ways to make money. Money is important though so I don’t disagree with you.
@argenis-therose im glad ur doing what u love. I think tech is where the money is at, maybe one of the easier career to take on, hard part is finding a job lol
@@andyl9920 Thanks bro, really feel like life is too short to hate your day to day. Find something you enjoy even it doesn't make the money you want. And yeah man, job hunting nowadays sucks.
Is software engineer field died ?
No I do not believe so, I believe it is evolving though.
Good stuff, part of the video I was wondering if you were in crypto and then you said that. We are in an interesting time because with AI we can accelerate our productivity. I'm seeing a big opportunity in game development. With some of the new AIs you can create 3D models a lot easier for in game assets. Lots of opportunities for sure.
Yeah I’m embracing AI as opposed to being scared of it. I believe it’s here to help, some people are choosing to quit because of it. Game development is such a cool field. I’ve made a few games before, some of the most fun I’ve had developing tbh.

tbh if you're surrounding yourself with all those smart people from top universities, it may feel like a reason to lament that you're not as good as them _now,_ but the fact that you're even rubbing shoulders with them in any form, or even aware of who they are and what they're doing, already means you're putting yourself in the right places and on the right track, and as you look up to them you're also likely to measure yourself to high standards, and in doing that you pull yourself way higher up than the average guy not looking after himself or with wavering ambition Keep at it, bro, your outlook will take you a long way
this is the way. I'm glad I'm not alone, if we don't aspire to be better, we are simply settling for mediocrity.
"Don't you dare go hollow"
I don't intend to
I don’t know why this comment isn’t posting maybe it’s too long, but this was my response to ur previous response, bro bro: I’m no expert, but anyone without a cs degree in the future trying to get a job, good luck. Self-taught route was okay in the past because most people who were self taught were hopping into less technically intensive stuff like web-development. Most self taught “software developers” were in fact web developers, bro. But with Ai stealing the show, even as roles shift to less software oriented roles for people, i.e., maintenance and reviewing code written by Ai, im confident companies are gonna for sure want people who have the credentials to work with Ai systems. But it’s just my guess. As far as going back to school for me. Im 33 gonna be 34 soon, been studying and doing the whole school thing all my life, I have entrepreneurial aspirations and passions outside of tech and traditional education that I’ve been putting off for too long now. I’d rather focus on these aspirations and passions for now, even if it’s more risky than continuing my computer science education. I figure right now tech and Ai is in a sort of transitional state, one we won’t know the full societal or political ramifications of for another 2-4 years give or take. That being said, I can hunker down and study like a mad man for these next 2-4 years and potentially find out my time was wasted when these 2-4 years are over, once the men in charge decide how they want to roll out Ai technology or not (and thereby determine what jobs we can have) or I can do my thing (my passions) for the next 2-4 years and if all is well in the tech sphere by then, well getting a further education wouldn’t be a problem. I’d just rather wait to have a little more of an idea of what the future holds before i haphazardly commit 4 year to getting a degree for a Jin that may or may not be here, if that makes sense. I’m also of predisposition that, academia, tech companies, and so called experts and even politicians are super super downplaying the impact of Ai and how it’s shaping the future. It’s like their afraid to admit the writing on the wall. Keeping everyone else in a false sense of (job) security
Unless ur specializing in Ai or hardware then stop. It’s not about quitting it’s about being smart. “Coders” will not be needed. Software engineers will still be here, but we don’t need people to know how to code anymore my brother. You will see
There will always be a need for software engineers. You should always be expanding your skillset.
@@argenistherose this is true. But if anything is clear, software engineer roles will change. I taught myself how to code over the last 3 years (smoked weed the whole time) got opportunities finally, but i decided to stop. Because it’s as obvious as 1 + 1 = 2 that my job as a web developer will not be here in the next 2-3 years. As Ai got better I realized my skills were lacking for the future. So I had 2 choices, go back to school and get my computer science degree (another 4 years of study in an uncertain future) or put my focus toward my actual passions. Ai is not gonna take your job, but roles will change. Coding won’t be like we see it anymore. It’ll be more or less maintaining Ai systems which won’t be coding like we think it is. That’s all my point is. Stop focusing on how to code, and focus on Ai if you want to be apart of future of tech. I still find Ai fascinating but i decided in this coming figure Ai is about paving the way so we humans can focus on our true passions (which is not really computer programming for most of us) world doesn’t need more developers. There’s enough of those. Make no mistake brother; as Ai gets better there will be less “techy” stuff for humans to do. We will move into more and more maintenance or “over-seeing”’the code that Ai writes. I still love coding but I’m not willing to go back for another 4 years just for an uncertain future as Ai evolves. World doesn’t need more developers man. Future is here, do what you want is my advice to people who have been in this game for a minute and can see the changes coming too
@@argenistherose also if you’re worried about having a tech job in the future, software is not enough. Unless u want to shift to cybersecurity, but if u want to stay in the area ur in ur gonna need to be truly full stack. I mean u will have to know the hardware side of things just as much. But if that’s too much just do electrical engineering. We are gonna need electrical engineers waaaaay more than software developers my man. Just look at the trends. People are switching back to more traditional engineering routes like computer engineering more than software brother.
@@91dgross I believe AI is to here to help, and learning ML/AI is valuable for sure. I would go into Data Science if I were you. As for going back to school, it's a decision I made because I know it's valuable for me. It will not determine if I get a job or not.
@@91dgross A friend of mine has a masters in Electrical Engineering and he's currently a software engineer. I think you should find what interests you instead of chasing what trends are happening. I enjoy software development and I don't see it going anywhere even with AI around. I have been building apps with AI, I just recently launched. I am working on a few bugs but the MVP is already out. I'll talk about it on my next video.
