The app doesn’t update until a few minutes after the park opens and at that point you’re either committed and it was a bad choice if it’s closed. Or if you see it’s open you don’t want to head over there after all the rope droppers have headed that way. Oftentimes the cast members will tell you if they know at the rope, hey the attraction will not open at 8:00 am so you know not to waste your time. But that’s not guaranteed. It’s really a gamble. This day luck was on our side!

And when you book through them oftentimes hotels throw in free WiFi for booking guests of Get Away Today.

The cast members will tell you which line to get in for each restaurant. We were there on a Wednesday. You will be fine on a Monday. Have a magical trip!

Yes you can see the fireworks with some projections and hear the music. Just stay in the same area.

I felt some mists of water a few times from the overspray but nothing that bothered me.

When we went 4 years ago we sat in the front and got soaked. It was February and we were miserable. If it was warm I'm sure we wouldn't have minded a bit. I don't know if the show has changed since that time (a lot has changed since that time) but if I were to see it again I wouldn't sit in the front .

@@toribradford151 yikes that sounds miserable. Nobody got soaked. I’ve done the front row twice now and just some occasional mist nothing like you experienced. That sounds like World of Color. Yes if you’re in the front row for that show you get wet!!!

Great question yes you can see if the rides are open during Early Entry once it starts. So at 7:30 am you can see wait times. In the video it was 7:20ish so it wasn’t showing in the app yet.

You don’t want to use that entrance. I don’t even recommend hotel guests at the Grand use it for reasons I explain in the video. But that entrance is only for hotel guests during Early Entry.

Yes you can do Early Entry on the day you check in. I’ve done it. It’s a super early morning. Arrive around 6 am so you can drop off your luggage with bell services. You’ll need the reservation set up in the app to show to get in for Early Entry.

I’m not totally sure cause I’ve never looked but someone mentioned there are FB groups that you can find for more people. I’d just make sure your ride plans are similar to anyone you’re joining. If you want to do Guardians and they don’t that could be hard to decide who gets to make the decisions is the only thing I’d be worried about.
