Our cover of Goo Goo Dolls' biggest hit "Iris"... Recorded live at Glenn's Music Box on 10/8/23. Written for the movie City of Angels, the song is about an angel who gave up his immortality to be with a female human he fell in love with. Our video has the same plot, but the human and angel characters are reversed.

Thank God above that Matteo knows by instinct which kind of music to play, and doesn't resort to pentatonic piddling that has no rock element and no guts. He's got the mix pretty well perfect where he's musically off the leash but he's got that rhythm and solid beat pushing him along.

The best technical player we've ever seen perhaps?He also has a musical sense about him that has grown. His picking technicque allows him to do things that other players simply can't without doing legato. I admit it all starts to soind like a blur after awhile...Id still rather listen to Strawberry Fields. But this dude is impressive..

With jet lad, it's was about 3 or 4 am for Mateo. Sorry I wasn't able to make this conmcert. I SO wanted to go. I live a short three hour drive from this place, and my son-in-law has played there.

Thanks man. I was just lucky to watch his only show in Chicago. Apparently he did 9 shows in the US, 8 of which in Cali and only 1 in Chicago.

Same old comment. Please listen to his Charlie Parker and John Coltrane videos, his album, his other videos. He plays fast when music request this. He plays the necessary notes, nothing more, nothing less
