As someone that is going to Vegas in 2025, I was just offered this “VIP Experience” package for $125/day and it has to be booked for the entirety of my stay, and I’m going for 7 days, so that would be an extra $875 add-on for my stay. I personally don’t think it’s worth it. Especially now with the virtual check-in and digital key system where you can check in 24 hours before your trip and have your room key delivered to your phone, and you can skip the check-in counter completely. (if you download and use the MGM Rewards App, that’s where the digital key lives) I will use the digital key and skip the check-in lines then pay $875 to get access to a small lounge where I can get free coffee and drinks.

We are going at new years gonna dress up 20’s and all can’t wait!

I'm staying in a Corner Tower Suite - Panoramic View. Is this the same as a sky suite? Do I use this for check-in? I am first time Platinum.

Assuming the pool is heated? Why else would it be open that time of year if not. Would be good to know that info.

We've gotten this offer before. But it's definitely NOT worth $150 PER DAY.

Beautiful room. Fun fact, the mountain view 2 bedroom penthouses are slightly larger than the strip view 2 bedroom penthouses due to the curvature of the building. Aria advertises both as the same square footage but they're not. Mountain view has the benches in front of the beds and the buffet cabinet in the dining room and strip view doesn't. Since you stayed in July, how was the AC? I've read a few complaints that the west-facing rooms at Aria can get warm in the summer if you don't keep the curtains closed.

This was helpful. For a quick one night its fine, but for any length of time I would opt for the hotel because their rooms are beautiful.

I'm still waiting for why this is "hard pass." Some people like the downtown location and in particular, this casino. The video doesn't cover anything particular egregious about the room itself.

I’ve been to Babette’s twice. I love the atmosphere. My preferred steak is the New York strip. The last time there, I didn’t have a reservation, but they got me right in and I ate at the Bar. Had a great gin & tonic after the steak and wedge salad. I will go back.

back in the day circa 2004- 2007 there were multiple food presentations throughout the day. Frequently they were substantial and could easily replace breakfast or lunch. There was also a full bar available for guest use/no bartender, so you could easily get your money's worth on alcohol alone. At night they always would put out cordials and the best, biggest tuxedo chocolate covered strawberries. It was truly a VIP lounge that was accessible only through booking on floors 29 - 36 or by invitation from the Hotel. Still very nice and secluded, but a very subdued experience today.

Looks fine and I wish more restaurants would do this. I enjoy the breakfast buffet at Grand Lux Venetian/Palazzo for example, but also a bit sad that standard breakfast in Vegas will now be $30-$50.

I wonder if they charge a fee for kitchenware?

We've stayed in one of the standard original 47 rooms a couple of times. Knowing in advance it was a vintage room I figured it wouldn't have as many electrical outlets that we utilize 80+ years since it was built. That's why I always keep my 8 plug, USB-A and USB-C power strip with surge protector and with a 6 ft. cord and my adapters in my backpack that I travel with. When we travel by Amtrak their sleeping car compartments have only one outlet, too, so we never have any issue charging two phones and two laptops and any other devices we use. The one I have I bought at Home Depot for $40.00. Pricey but it's higher quality than what you can find in most places. As for the safe, keurig, and fridge not working, I too would be letting them know I'd want a refund on the resort fee since you were unable to use those amenities. The two times we stayed at El Cortez, fortunately we didn't run into that problem, though.

Why didn't you show the pool that was the whole idea I was very disappointed that was what I wanted to see that was not a smart thing what you did the whole idea of the thing was to view the bigger picture which was to be the pool not everything around it it was a very poor video😢

Thanks for the video. Was researching dress code and I see a lot of these sites say no shorts but your video seems to show otherwise. Was planning on walking around the strip with comfortable golf-style shorts. Do you see any problem getting into Lago-level restaurants?

Been to Oscar's a few times now and my steak was not cooked correctly either. I ordered medium and it came out quite rare. I am not terribly fussy so I ate it and it was flavorful and tender but it would have been a grand slam if they got it right. I did have the hizzoner cocktail and it was quite enjoyable ... One under-cooked steak won't stop me from going to Oscar's again and again ...
