Hi, my name is Giacomo, and I am from Italy. I grew up spending time in the kitchen with my mom who is an amazing chef. I spent my youth travelling within Italy exploring the food from different regions. I have discovered that no matter what region the food comes from, if it’s from Italy, it’s healthy, delicious, and easier to make than you might think.
I am a world traveler and food adventurer. During my travels, I have realized that Italian food overseas is not well represented. I have seen many times people making Italian dishes in a way that does not seem to be authentic.
Living in Italy I have learned a lot about homemade, healthy, and easy recipes, and over the past several years I have dedicated more and more time to learning and developing my cooking skills.
My goal is to bring to my audience recipes that are simple to make, and yet both healthy and taste delicious. I call my method of preparing and making these amazing meals and desserts Food With an Accent.
