The 32 year-old performed some new and old jams for the audience and even spotlighted a talented rising artist. Singer/songwriter Leon Timbo wowed the crowd with his amazing vocals.

So… When I was younger and didn’t have a pot to piss in, had terrible credit, creditors calling me daily etc… I “needed” new shoes and luxury items. Had to have $90 jeans and $50 t-shirts. Now that I’m doing well for myself with good credit and means you will find me wearing $4 t-shirts from the Thrift Store and living way below my means. It’s a mindset.
You don't have to be that extreme on either end though. There is a healthy middle ground.

He's talking about street money that's the most unstable money to have. I think the point of the people want instant gratification and not save money in the long run. Also the derogatory term is when people make illegal money, (pimps, gangbangers, drug dealers), it's not like they can save it legitimately because the IRS and Feds will give them scrutiny. This is why when a pimp is thrown in jail, an associate goes to a pawn shop and pawn jewelry as collateral to pay the bail.

You’re dreaming if you don’t think you can make money now. Literally made 15k two weeks ago, granted I started with 4k of my own money, on crypto. The exact coins/tokens doesn’t matter. Just buy low and sell high. Don’t get greedy either and expect 10-100x returns. You gotta be willing to take 1.4x returns consistently. Do this over and over and you’ll be fine. It’s not as much money as these guys but.. it’s been real nice chilling at home watching True Detective while I make money from nothing.

@@_baller yeah personally I earn quite good money but in general terms I totally agree with you, all my friends who have “good jobs”; electrician, doctor, project manager etc have less money than I thought even though they earn between £22-£30 per hour and inflation in the UK is up 2.1% with interest rates at 0.01%... money is actually losing its value

I don’t think it’s as bad as you think. You are taking what you see in the media and assuming it is the lifestyle of the typical American. If we only showed the typical American the entertainment industry would tank. We have so far survived the housing bubble. Student debt is definitely concerning. I agree that loans not intended for business investment should be more closely scrutinized.

Damn i know a couple of people who he just described to the tee. They hustle hard, put their blood, sweat and tears into their business/ jobs.
