This was a memorable fight. I spent over an hour chasing for one perfect last dance with sir Julius, using a specific play style.. but i did not succeed in the end. Although this run doesnt show it well, this setup allows for constantly hitting the boss, up-in-your-face, and with dual parries, negating the cooldown. It reminded me of the fight with Ulv on my first playthru. I wonder how fighting him on ng+ is like. Alas, im not sure if i want to spend more time on the rest of the ng+ run. It was fun, but i may just leave it with my last dance with Julius.

the key is maximizing your main skill combo, anticpatingthe mob's fireballs, and clipping the mobs with your ultimate sp attack.

I was so op.. I defeated him on my first attempt, with a stylish end 😅

I had a hard time finding this hidden item.. eventually gave up and searched online. Hopefully this video helps someone else that is also struggling.

I'm really enjoying this game so far, and it just blew my mind when I discovered this hack/technique is possible. I dont think i'm half way through the game yet, judging by the amount of blight i need to upgrade one skill from lv.5 to 6, and i havent even been able to upgrade the main skill sword! Seeing those intriguingly located lamps hanging down, I figure there'll eventually be a hook/swing skill available. So I'm not sure if some of these unreachables were meant to be obtained as shown in the vid (i'd like to think it was intentional), but the game is awesome for it. The music, art design, combat, the ease and challenge of gameplay, variety in skill choice <3

It took me a few hours to figure out how to climb it. I not only used several crates, but I also used that big table across the room on the barricade. All for nothing but a cool angle of the room to take a picture. EDIT: Later, I learned a cheat code that allowed me to pass through the door, and respawn in the “room.” Not only is there nothing in there, there is not even a floor in there! You just fall down to the floor below.

Why did they put that in? They knew people were going to try and climb up there.

I spent so long trying to set the boxes only for that to be an inaccessible area. makes me angry thinking about it.

I always did wonder what was up there, I am quite disappointed they did not add anything there 😢.

I spent hours trying to figure out how the Power Transmitters worked (and not worked). And I think I finally got a grasp of it.* And before I got rid of all the experimental mess and reloaded to my previous save, I took on another path of curiosity. xD * To properly connect your distant power source to your base using Power Transmitters (PT), the following points should be regarded: 1.) The first PT connecting to your power source (e.g. a set of solar panels) has a very short range, so keep them close! (less than 25m) 2.) The working range between two PT's is about 100m. 3.) If your power source isn't registering at your base.. try not to have two or more separate power sources directly connected to one another with PT's (e.g. a set of PTs up on a tall hill and the PTs on top of your Moonpool)! It gets complicated.. and I didn't want to spent more time figuring out the details. Keep it simple! Just have each power source connect to dif parts of your base. It's actually okay to just let your last PT connect directly to a structure of your base, if you like. With the help of the online community, I was able to experiment, test, and verify the points above.

Btw anyone else that comes to this video, you can farm pale tongues and wolf’s blood swordgrass at the same time at the abyss watchers bonfire. Took me 3 hrs for both.

Other method to farm the sunlight medals is drop your coop sign before Prince Lothric and wait to be summoned as warrior of sunlight Easier & faster one: join a friend’s speedrun defeating bosses Both worked for me.

I go ham on the little guy to get rid of him first. But keep an eye on Moleberg and be ready to dodge his charges. Then take your time with Moleberg.

he sometimes moves around without doing anything, so that's why I took the chance and wailed at him. 2nd phase.. when he goes up on the side and jumps down, you need to be near the middle of the arena where he lands to dodge his following attack. It may take guts but being closer to him makes it easier to dodge past him, while being far away makes things harder. For me, anyways. I saved my arrows for 2nd phase.

use charged 2H to knock him down when he has his shield up, either walking or charging. Him charging at you with his shield up easier to dodge than without his shield up, which is triggered by being very far away from him. So don't stay too far!

it gets repetitive.. hopefully I am not missing out on better loots by claiming them at lower level. also, it seems the psipower Blink can reliably cancel my special attack Unstoppable Pig.

interesting observation @1:55, having the Winged Fool between your Shade Soul and the ceiling will drag him back with nowhere to go and take more than one hit shout out to Relyea and the HK community for tips here and there.

got fed up with THK half way through, but I finally beat this. Next is the trial of the fool, which is me. Yet another hardest challenge.

nothing impressive, just sharing my fight. The charms weren't necessary the best tailored to this boss, but I wanted to prepare for not being able to switch charms in between fights. best time to heal is when he hovers around with 6 orbs. If you can position yourself properly during that phase, I imagine you can pop an abyss shriek as he pases over you. I've not figured out how to use desolate dive for its . The only main problem I have is not really knowing when he will be charging towards me on the ground. I think he teleports to either end of the room to initiate it, but it can be misinterpreted as another teleport + orb toss.

Sometimes offense is the best defense. I went with all offensive charms, for melee and spells, to help shorten the fight. With shade cloak, my dashes are officially s! So i took advanatage of that while being mindful of its short cooldown. Whether going above or through the boss, move towards him as he rushes at you. Save your dashes for the boss, and get rid of the floting balloons concisely. And dont be greedy when nailing the boss! With that, i was able to maintain my souls/mana up to spam spells. I jumped up during his slam+aoe move to give myself more space and time to react, meanwhile trying not to hit the balloons and get recoiled. I felt that's half the fight if you got that down.
