Very cute! The anime sounds really cool and if it ever did get past the initial production phase, I would looking into it just for tuxedosam (my favorite sanrio character) lol Loved the video, any feedback would be asking a question at the end to encourage more conversations in the comments! Like, who is favorite sanrio character, or which magical girl from this lost series would you want merch of? Over all loved it and watched it in its entirety! ❤️

how would you say you started with your business at the start and how did you deal with keeping the motivation to go forward?
Very good question! It started with a lot of research and looking at what the business-owners I looked up to were doing. Milkytomato, Applecheeks, ShopGutsandGlitter to name a few! I figured out what I wanted to sell, and how I'd do that. When I started out I made this biiig spreadsheet of manufacturers, their costs for various units of product, their pros and cons etc! As well as comparing manufacturing to making certain products from-home. I also did a lot of research on the business rules/guidelines for my country (When I need to begin declaring income, how to calculate profits, etc - very important stuff!) As for figuring out where to sell, I initially started on Etsy but recently moved to my own storefront this year - both have their pros and cons! So it's good to look at those and figure out what's gonna be best for you for now. For me when I started, it was Etsy since I didn't fully know how to market myself back then and the marketplace format of Etsy was great! However, I now want independence and my own business identity separate from Etsy, hence why I made the jump! The motivation side of things: It's definitely something I'm still figuring out - Between doing commissions and other content also, it can be pretty hard to take care of my shop all the time! At the moment, best advice I can give is start small. Don't feel the need to have a big product catalogue straight away! Fewer high-quality products you're proud of is better than more ok-quality products you're not proud of. Hope this helped!
