Thanks for checking out the video! It's nice to have when it falls but quickly becomes difficult to deal with for many months.

Nothing in Ottawa has that high of a score I'm afraid. Searching Google it tells me Hintinburg and Centertown have the highest scores of 90. Centertown is fairly central to the hustle and bustle of the city but Hintonburg is a great neighbourhood - trendy, lots of nice shops and main roads connecting to residential avenues, good transit and fun to wander around. Picaresque old residences spliced into modern amenities it's quite lovely. I have a Hintonburg Walk on my channel if you're interested! 😊

@ we are going to Italy for a holiday in a couple of weeks. I’m hoping we have to deal with less crowds given it is winter. It is such a beautiful country. Venice is like something out of a dream. Literally, like walking back in time.

@@modestlyneutral That's so lovely, what a beautiful time of year to go. We were there in October, of course, but still found it quite hot and rather buggy, and of course, very crowded. I think you'll find it much more palatable in December, I'm very excited for you. Although the crowds will likely still be there, getting out for early morning or night time wanders is a fantastic way to feel like you have these beautiful places all to yourself. Have a lovely time!

I've seen a bear once in the Gatineau Nature Park area, but just a small one on a very quiet evening. Mostly I stick to the main trails and hiking spots and they're enough trafficked the land-based wildlife keeps its distance. But I'm not one for much concern on an average day to be honest! Thanks for your interest in my trail walks! I let them fade off in favour of the more popular city walks but I have some new ones to upload soon. 😊

It's a bittersweet pill isn't it? We only have such a short time to enjoy the beautiful colors of fall and it's tinged with the sadness that another summer is behind us and another long winter is ahead. There's always so much to do! We are quite lucky to live in a place with such vibrant autumns I'll certainly agree with that. Thank you for your lovely comment and checking out the video. <3

Yes I remember how different it was when I was a kid, and how exciting having the Super X there was! There's still lots of fun to find but it feels all a bit more low key these days. Glad they kept the Pavillion though!
