Neither in written texts nor oral literature was the Azande music ever used for social control in the name of advice. Rather, enemies, friends, families and subjects used it to express their emotional states. Currently, as the sense of entitlement, a lack of empathy, and a need for admiration become permanent, they crystalize into a personality type called narcissism, which is prominent among Facebook fads and casual musicians. These narcissists are allowed to align themselves with politicians and traditional leaders for social influence. In return, they become legitimate sources of population control. However, when consumers’ comments do not reflect such admirations, they mistake critical feedback for advice or “back to sender”. “Back to sender” is an approach that target individuals whose music (utterances) are infatuated with unsolicited advices. E.g., advising women to hurry to pray for suitors are complemented with back to sender/advice not admiration. Namely, it is just a socially acceptable form of saying “mind your business? After all, even in the olden days people sought advice from Atari and trusted and caring friends and family members for their personal matters. Similarly, today, I would only seek advice for my personal life from a professional whose knowledge is grounded in proper scientific theories that have been tested and are widely accepted as valid. As in olden days, any informal advisers like friends or families must be individuals whom I have proven that they genuinely have sleepless nights when I am in trouble. I would accept advice from an unmarried dedicated spiritual man/woman if it is grounded in sound philosophical, theological and spiritual principles.
Even from the Azande traditional perspective, there is no prove that my ancestors sought advice from any bakumba apart from seeking punishment for their alleged aggressors from the courts. After all, even the courtiers and their masters were the worst creeps when it came to misappropriating female sexuality as a currency of male dominance and free labour rather than as lovers or companions. After all, the abakumba should be concerned with the external dangers that challenges the group they represent not rather than advisory role. This is not advice but criticism. Speaking of advice, only those innocent dancers that are the targets of mass manipulation deserve one because they need to know that any third party who get involved in issues of personal nature of private citizens is an intruder. So, whatever the intruder says is nothing but a form of subliminal mind control, be it conversational or musical. Luckily, the anti-dote is to hold them accountable through push backs on the principles of "back to sender". Secondly, they should not waste time on partners who love “they say, they say”. Those social creeps will easily vanish whenever they are brought face to face with their words. Lastly, in an interactive consumption, when musicians fire dancers with questionable logic, the later have the right to water down the former. And when that happens, the musician may become wet and humbled. It is then that the Azande music may revert to its previous glory when it was also used as a form social communication rather than social control by a designated group as substantiated by the short song below: “Friggini himi nzungbo gaani nga kpotorooo!!!! Oooooh! oooooh! Although the composer is unknown, many Azande people who converted to Christianity as adults incorporated it into their family history as it past from Daviragurire to another.
Wow stoning all institutions with one stone,
