People who are saying you're missing a step... I've seen several tutorials where they just start using nail polish (wood glue was never even a step). But yeah, I give this craft a thumbs down as well. Thanks for the honest review!! I'm trying it with wood glue now.
Che diametro di filo hai usato?
Beautiful
Gratidao.por ensinar essa técnica de artesanato.
You were supposed to dip them in wood glue and let that dry before painting.
Wow . Superb Mam. God bless. Tkcare.
Is it long lasting?
If y’all dip them in wood glue and bend them down a little bit then it be easier to paint them that’s why y’all have trouble getting the nail polish on
WoW someone did it how it was actually meant to be done

The colors are so vivid! Here's another way I found to do it that makes them more durable: th-cam.com/video/xx2bN9jLF28/w-d-xo.html
Love this yall.... perfect video
Wahhaaa
Works better if u dip them in wood clue first.. Let dry an then paint
So it does work without glue. I like it more without glue, it gives it more of an transparent look.
HERE'S AN EASIER WAY TO MAKE THEM: Make flowers like above twisting each petal only twice before going on to the next petal, after petals are formed, squish petals just a little to create a more oval shape (optional), also optionally: bend the petals just slightly over the tube or magic marker (whichever you used) do the droop down a little, dip upside down in wood glue to form the 'petal bubble', stick in some foam or cardboard so they stand strait up, let dry, use a paintbrush to apply a second coat of wood glue on the petals, let dry again, then paint with nail polish, let dry. Then, if you want, you can apply a clear coat of polish or clear lacquer, or clear polish with glitter inside...so many options! Much easier!
That blue polish is WIN!!! <3
Yeah, as others have said, you've missed out a whole step - namely, using a layer of wood glue / mod podge / pva / liquid latex - before applying the nail varnish.
Dip it in glue works better
If you take wood glue and dip the flowers in the glue and let them dry then paint them with the polish they look nice
You need to dip the flowers in wood glue after making them and let it dry before "painting" them with the nail polish.
It is a pain in the butt. I've seen ppl dip the pedals in wood glue the set the pedal effect
you need to hold the brush on the side - to wipe the brush over all of it as you go BUT if you look at some of the other craft you will find they also are not going to last if you do not treat them with some respect. YOU also could have put the nail polish into a small bowl and dipped them in that way and when dry use pva glue over to give them a longer lasting finish or use wood glue then paint them - there are a few ways this could have been done. Maybe you needed to watch a few more different youtube videos showing you some other ways and ideas about this craft.
It shows it too when you get done making him and bending them to where you want it get them in wood glue then paint them after they're all dry with fingernail polish easier and wasting time painting them with fingernail polish. Just dip them in wood glue let them dry overnight or dry for a couple hours then paint them with your favorite
Mag Pag works too
You forgot the glue. LOL.
You need to dip in wood glue then paint with nail polish
I make absolutely horrid videos, so please don't think I am dissing you. You make better videos, but you missed a critical step, namely dipping the wire frame into a small pot of wood glue and then setting it aside to dry over night. The glue gives the petals some structure and then you can brush on a heavier layer of nail polish, or you can also use model making enamels from the hobby shop for even more color variety. I think if you redid the video and included the step of dipping the frame in glue, you would have a winner and go on to TH-cam fame.
Christopher Dahle we were following the linked instructions we found on Pinterest. Thank you for the suggestion.
I would have suggested the wood glue too, but I can appreciate you were following a method that you had found on Pinterest. I loved the blue flower, so beautiful. Thank you for sharing.x
Christopher Dahle lol that's the first thing I thought, was like where's the glue??
As far as I know Pinterest doesn't include all the steps a lot of the time in projects or recipes
Could you tell me what kind of glue? thanks a lot
where did you get that wreath?
I love this ladies...I'm going to recommend this channel!
Thank you so much for this video. My problem was with the flower wrapping and your close up video sorted my problem. The nail polish do work, but it need glue first. Especially on the thick wire. For small thin flowers you can only use the polish. But I now used your thumbs down video as a tutorial.
Love it! Thanks girls!
cool!
Beautiful
wish I had these, I have lofthouse I eat them but they are so bad for you, only on occasion though
Great video!!! 👍
