Hello everyone and welcome to my channel!
My name is Oliver and I live in Slovakia. I'am above all a paper modeler in the spirit of motto: "The master derives from his art."
Main purpose of this channel is to show you my models, tricks and everything around paper (sometimes plastic) models directly from my table.
To build one model from paper isn't a matter of a few days or weeks but matter of months or in special cases matter of years. Because of that I apologize in advance for the irregularity of adding my new videos.
Now I have a full head of ideas which I would like to share with you, so .. look forward to it! :)

I'm a new builder and so far I've found 2 things: the exhaust system supplied only fits the smaller motor. So I have begun to fabricate an exhaust that will fit. Secondly, the larger motor will not sit properly on the chassis frame whilst the smaller motor fits quite easily. So I have had to play around quite a bit sanding in various places.
Revell is not precise as Tamiya. Moreover, the kit was released almost 10 years ago...

Exactly.. At least I dont remember problems like this. It's some time since a I finished this kit. Sorry..
how big is that in inches?
Roughly, wingspan 30cm (11.81 inches) and length 28cm (11.02 inches).

Now, these are the instructions. I wish there are more paper modelers on TH-cam, mostly when it comes to realism, quality, details and brand-specific like this one. Great job, sir.
Thank you! I think that this is because our hobby is much more time consuming than plastic one. But you can be one of those on TH-cam too. :)
@@oliverskovajsa, like you said, sir that it consumes a lot of time than the plastic ones. Thus, I also don't have much the luxury of time, that's why I can't build my paper model backlogs nor to upload mine on TH-cam or on any social media.
How do you prepare paper for painting?
1. Nitro Varnish (cellulose based varnish primarily for wood) - you can apply it over whole pages of model at the beginning of the construction process, or as I do, at the end when I have everything glued in subassemblies before surfacer. The paper will be more solid and not so much absorbent. But be aware for plastic parts which can be destroyed by that varnish (or its thinner). 2. Surfacer/Primer - I love Mr. Surfacers - black one or grey 1200/1500 are the best for me. Dont forget to sand the whole surface after the surfacer is completely dried. They are pretty much the same. 3. Painting & Weathering The first step isn't necessary. I used it only on my last repainted model - the Hetzer (feel free to check the video) but It didn't have the effect that I expected.

Hi Oliver, do you think these could be made into RC with some modifications?
Hello Eric, honestly, I'm not sure if I'm the right person for your question. Actually, I have no idea what's inside RC model, how it looks or how it works. If all of RC "insides" require a lot of space then my answer is no. But no matter if it does or not, don't forget that paper model is full of cardboard skeleton. Your modifications should be enormous (including of material and internal construction [skeleton] changes). I suppose that the RC engine could have some weight, therefore some counterweight should be hidden somewhere in the tail etc..

Very beautiful - I just bought the FW190. What kind of glue did you use?
Thanks and good luck with your FW! :) I used our local PVA glue named Hercules. Any other PVA will work great I guess.
