After one year of studying civil engineering at UofT I decided my life needed more excitement. In the summer of 2019, I enrolled in the Canadian Armed Forces as an Engineer Officer. I am now sharing the journey from civilian to soldier with curious Canadians all around the country! I hope to provide clarity, support those going through the process and provide studying tips for the CFAT exam. I partnered with a company that provides over 1100 practice CFAT questions and a personal training assistant! Support the channel and ace your CFAT at army-test.com/kyra. If you have any questions/comments direct message me on Instagram @explore.caf. Thanks so much for watching my videos! Have a great day (:

BMOQ WEEKEND 7/12: Weapons Testing & PC005, PC011!
Im 37, am i too old now?
Im at the medical and interview stage ..what is that like?
This is actually fake and gay
The benefits are dated equipment, underfunded understaffed cultural wokeness , terrible pay and benefits.
Hello! I was supposed to do my cfat today but it got cancelled because apparently they are removing the cfat completely? When I went to go write it, I only did the personality test and other interview stuff. It was kind of dissapointing because I used so much time studying for it and the help of your videos! Thank you anyways!
Just so you guys know. This guy got kicked out of recruit training school at CFLRS Quebec as an instructor. He was deemed untrustworthy because he cares more about his TH-cam channel and boosting himself than actually mentoring recruits. He brags about being a sailor with probably 20 sea days. Remember this, there are countless sailors at much lower ranks with exponentially more sea days than this petty officer. Nobody respects Petty officers that dont do their time on the deck plates. Zero respect.🫡
What a great interview! Thank you
Don’t apply from Montreal
I’ll join when Trudeau gets voted out
Check our reference thats why Canadian Army is a laughing stock in the world my grandfather's didn't have to do any of this and they faught in ww1 and ww2 for your freedom and this is why Canada is the laughing stock of the world
F the online application that is why Canada is laughed at i don't use internet to confirm that i fight for our country
So there is no need for physical test if going full time?
Oh great, Kalistani army trained in Canada.
Can you do a video on signing bonuses? Some positions comes with that but no clue on how much and how it’s paid etc
Usually only for returning members.
what does 23:23 to 23:36 mean?
Is the rappel tower really high?
CAF pretty exclusive….
just wanna ask how hard in the interview is and what are somethings i can do to prepare for it
Why does this guy makes me think of Captain Obvious?
Their website please
How I can join !
My son 21 after several months weighing the decision to apply for the army did so. Got sworn in. Got sent to BMQ. Went through the first week of training and was doing really well. Then over the coarse of a weekend decided to VR. I'm pretty bummed out that he went that far did all of that all to just quit. I'm trying to stay positive for him but I'm still pretty disappointed that he didn't complete his BMQ. I just feel this decision is going to be a big regret for the rest of his life. I'm not sure how to handle this. Any advice?
When I was 17 I did the same, VRd after 2 weeks in BMQ. Life at home was lazy, and I was free to be my lazy pathetic self with no repercussions. I only regretted my choice to leave some years later when I found out life in the civilian world is not that much better than the "horror stories" of the CAF I'd heard so often back then, and that BMQ was actually about to be much easier than I had anticipated. He needs to reap the repercussions of his actions and gain life experience without his parents' coddling. It was only after I moved cities and faced many difficulties in life that I had the confidence to reapply and know I was ready. If he regrets it like I did, he'll rejoin.
Do we get to contact recruiter before taking CFAT ?
With the amount of overweight people in service how is it possible that anyone would fail basic training
Lmao my issues would be math I fucking suck ass with math soooooo bad 😂physically wise i would be top notch tho and i can hit a target at 1000 yards lol
I am veteran combat arms background for +30yrs. I have instructed Basic, BMQs numerous different leadership courses. I told the candidates that these courses are designed to pass students. Focus be a team player and you'll pass, if you fail a an EO/PO you'll get couple more attempts. I will share that I have fail test and I am a walking example here I am achieved my rank level. I promise couple things you be cold, wet and very tired at some portions during this course that is what solidering all about. So dug deep have the hunger to pass this course and you WILL.
You said “if you fail the fitness test there is no second chance” does this mean that if you fail 1 time you will not be able to ever join the CAF?
Hey there! I got a quick question. I am aiming to join the Naval Experience Program. But I'm also scared that I might fail BMQ, Or panic, etc. What should I do? Edit: I also beat myself up for minor mistakes so I hope I don't do that there
The best success would be to walk back out the door of the CFRC and go find an occupation that will actually benefit you.
this one i'm just gonna have to wing, i do not have the cranial capacity to mentally fold and unfold anything more complicated than squares
Literally want to train my body before going if I'm not married by 26/27 joining
You only really start making a sustainable wage until cpl 4 which is five years, no affordable housing at all
It’s it worth it to do it part time ?
why is it so unfair for the people that failed on cfat multiple times and the new comers are able to not take the exams for CFAT😢 all i want is to be in CAF😭 im desperate
I applied at the same time as my friend we both filled out the paperwork at the same time, both did the CFAT test on the same day (the recruiting centre is an hour away from us so we commuted together) but when it came to the screening process my friend already got an email back and I’m still waiting and have been waiting for a long time. It’s getting really depressing anyone have any advice?
It’s very informative and thank you 😊 Do you have any advice on the interviews, hopefully the interview questions? Would they be similar to other regular job interviews?

I followed her instagram to message and ask questions about the application process, she rejected my request? so I guess shes not open for questions anymore for anyone needing that. Still good info in the video thanks.
If you fail you just keep trying and stay there until you pass or decide to VR or do dumb shii and then get kicked out but that doesn’t happen just because you failed and you get multiple tries until recourses and even then it’s for you to train and be able to try some more. Yes mental health is valued there’s a whole thing for that at the MIR and at basic there is R2MR and tactical breathing all that. And things have changed now.
I am 49, I would like to join the CAF like part time job, do I do all tests before to join it like a men 18-30 years old?
What’s with all the badges? Military has gone stupid.
So you get to be woke , inclusive , must follow and adhere to the guidelines of the LGBTQ++ ideology you must use pronouns, no yelling berating or any form of disciplinary actions , you don't have to do any serious physical training if you don't want to
And that's how people die in theatre

I just passed the CFAT today and your video really helped. Thank you!!

hello kyra,Thanks for the informative videos.I already booked for Canadian Forces Aptitude Test and Trait Self Descriptive Personality Inventory class. I am unware about Trait Self Descriptive Personality Inventory class, how does this works?
HI kyra, it is really helpful.May god bless you with alot of love and happiness.
Well as long as you're woke, and a big part of the lgtbq++ ,transgenders are more than welcome ,they offer you a completely safe environment, tampon dispensers in the men's washroom ,so you may also select whatever gender bathrooms and shower facilities you wish to use ,also you men transitioning to women can play sports in whatever gender you choose ,so you can definately compete with cis females
hey Kyra what trade were/are you in the CAF
I applied to a in demand job and my educational background will be a good fit for the careers I picked. I am currently in the pre-screening phase how long can I hope to wait before I hear back for an interview or a medical. I was told I should hear back in 2 weeks it’s been a month now
I applied for in-demand job, after passing CFAT, I had to wait 13months to get booked for the Medical 😒
@@saadsyed7531 when did you apply? Man 13 months is way too long idk how I can wait that long. Are you in now?
