It's a shame about "SuchClutch"'s reaction to OP 12, I think some other people did too. She's my second favorite, gosh. But it's not just because of tastes, I confess that I really like the song and the voice, but it's also because it's a well-constructed opening. It starts with them on their usual adventures and then, in the middle of the opening, the singer's tone changes and gives an opening too, it's one of the few that has that. I see it as the protagonists' hope that Ace would be saved, that's why the song is more upbeat.
