New Forest 10 - July 2019

The New Forest 10 is a beautiful 10 miles scenic route on mixed terrain. Mostly trails, not too hilly. 2019 was warm and muggy but overall not too bad for running. I joined a great team from Bracknell Forest Runners at the event celebrating 30 years as a running club. Over 30 participants traveled down for the run. This video was filled on GoPro Hero 7 Black using the timewarp feature, 30x spee...
Rushmoor ParkRun 1st January 2019 - 15x GoPro Timewarp

Rushmoor ParkRun #228 - 1st January 2019 5km course consisting of 2 loops of the park with a segment down the side of the canal. A very open course that allows you to see it across the field for most of the route. It feels very flat although there is slight incline. Often has a few big puddles but generally a really nice run. This particular run was great as there were hundreds of runners out f...
Commando Series 2018 GoPro Hero 7 Black POV
มุมมอง 1126 ปีที่แล้ว
A very quick edit made using the GoPro Quik app of the Commando Series obstacle course event at Hever Castle on 10th December. A very poigniant year to be doing such a fantastic event as it was 100 years since the signing of the Armistace in 1918. I ran with a team of colleagues from Pluralsight in support of the Royal Marines Association; a challenge initiated by Marnie as RMA is a charity she...

Bracknell Parkrun #189 - 20th October 2018 5km course consisting of 2.5 loops of a local park. www.parkrun.org.uk/bracknell/ It's an interesting course that can be challenging because of the inclines if you're not used to them and also because of the twisting of the corners and the small section in the woods which can get very muddy in winter. Filmed on GoPro Hero 7 Black Chest mounted Timewarp...

This is what its like to be Shadow the hedgehog
Congratulations on getting 2nd place. Going there with a go pro next week. Judging from the footage is it two laps followed by an extra route to the finish?
Yeah that's right, 2 laps of about 1.3miles with a little extra bit at the end to make up the full distance.
Love it 😍
Congratulations on finishing. It looks like a great race. May I ask what setting you used for Timewarp? x15? x30? Or something else?
Nevermind x30! FYI - you can connect the USB to a portable battery (while running) to extend the battery life and recording time.
@@chucklesrun I am tempted to try this but I feel like the extra bulk of the external battery might be difficult. I may experiment in the future though; I'd love be to record a full marathon without swapping batteries.
This makes me want to buy a gopro too... is there a chest mount that you recommend?
The standard GoPro has been the best one. I also got a cheap one from Amazon that came in an unbranded pack of "bits and pieces" which does do the job but it's a bit more awkward to get on and off.
oh dam, if im using it for full marathon, dont think timewarp will last
I would most certainly expect you to need to change the battery at least once. Possibly twice depending on your pace.
@@garethbarker7983 or use a battery pack
heh, that was cool
That looks like an awesome course. great video!
