@@iancampbell6925 It really does seem that way. The product is nice but compared to the LNER product, both the standard class and first class offerings are way too expensive. When you can get: - Comfier recliner seat - Cooked meal (or sandwiches) - Dessert - Alcohol - Tea Coffee and Cold Drinks - Lounge All included in a price from LNER that is cheaper than Scotrail’s standard class, it really begs the question of why would anyone bother

Lovely video! Great location. Loved seeing the tilt as they went round that sweeping curve. I’m envious of your motive power on the freights - class 66s all the way in my neck of the woods! And nice to see that the Tesco Express passes your way too 😂
Honestly it was a treat to film here on the west coast. Living and working on the East Coast, we also really only get the 66s out our way but they have some cracking traction over there! It seems to be everywhere on the West Coast 🤣

@JaysTransport what do you mean like is it good to film at those stations or film passing the yard? Oops mabye not too clear i was on a pendo heading south and just saw it as I was passing
@ Ohhh I see, yeah that makes more sense. I meant like the stations near the yard at either Warrington or Wigan. Tbh I’m travelling on an Azuma rn so probably didn’t use all my brain cells (not that I have many anyway)
@@JaysTransport I haven't been to Wigan or Warrington only passed through, I think they are relatively similar to oxenholme lake district(which I did film at) in terms of what comes through just mabye a bit more freight now and again

Just a regular station, it was an empty stock movement from the depot for a service out of St Pancras for rush hour
