I am curious to know how you conduct communion. A few things to look at - what were the times? Did Jesus pass the one cup around? With covid and diseases on the rise, do your members share one cup? Please don't misinterpret the context... yes, the bread represents the suffering and the wine the death... as believers, we must distinguish the differences and acknowledge. PAUL adjusted to the Gentile way and assisted the Jews with letting them know it was about salvation and faith in Jesus Christ. You spent way too much time talking about a cup versus manu cups rather than focusing on the meaning. People are not going to hell with how they distribute communion ... It's about misappropriation - no, the bible doesn't change, but the way we teach is based on the audience. Paul is the witness of all witnesses to the adjustment and respect of culture. Even Jesus at the well with the Samaritan woman cross cultural boundaries to show a purpose and who He is. Focus on the purpose... not how we distribute.
