Seathwaite, Borrowdale, Cumbria.
Seathwaite is a small hamlet in the Borrowdale civil parish of Cumberland, It is about 8 miles (13 km) southwest of Keswick.
For many years Seathwaite was a secluded spot, being connected to the main road at Seatoller by a rough track. However the emergence of fellwalking as an outdoor activity at the end of the 19th century led to the hamlet becoming a popular starting point for walkers bound for the surrounding mountains. The road was eventually surfaced, which led to motorists parking their cars along the verges on the approach to the farm. Seathwaite has become one of the most popular starting points for walking in the UK since it gives access to well-known mountains such as Scafell Pike, Great Gable and Glaramara. Famed Lakeland walker Alfred Wainwright made this comment:
Seathwaite, once in a little world of its own with few visitors, has become a pedestrian metropolis. Great days on the fells begin and end here.

Lovely flying with you... you always leave me speechless with your skill... ain't this top notch quality... very artistic shots... so very beautifully complemented with the music... you raised hairs I did not know I had 🙏🌹
Thank you so much for the very nice comments, very much appreciated.
Why take off from Stuart’s field? Would it not be more respectful going to Pasture farm and asking them to do a fly over!
There was nothing disrespectful about it, Stuart was with me when I took off from his field and I didn't over fly the solar park or Pasture Farm.
The drone is definitely above pasture farm’s land looking over the farm/farm land onto the solar park, it just would have been considerate if you asked that’s all. Instead of finding your video on here.
@@kevinharrison9284 The drone is above the land but not the solar park or buildings.
Like I said, you could have been a bit more respectful and gave us a heads up of what you were planning, instead of asking permission from the neighbouring farmer.
@@kevinharrison9284 I only needed permission from Stuart to take off and land from his property. I don't need permission to over fly any land. What I did was within the law and I don't know why you are making such a big thing of it.

Great video of such a dramatic area. Fascinating at the end how the cloud starts to roll down the hill.

What a waterfall and to see the cloud slowly dropping down over the hills. Amazing David loved every minute of the flight
Thanks, I took this earlier in the year, we didn't have as much rain then.
@davidharle952 I know what you mean, David. This year has been a washout in Scotland
Forwarded your video to the drone show live Tony asking if its OK to showcase it in a future episode

A crackin' vid of one of my favourite spots for hiking and biking and droning. But, new ebike coming next week and I'll be spreading my wings even further - weather permitting.
Good for you. I can see an e-bike for me in the not too distant. Just back from the Italian alps where it seemed every other bike was electric. Brought my drone and found it was no-drone UNESCO world heritage area 😞
Cheers mate, it's thanks to you (again) I found the place. My eBike has a throttle, so I don't have to peddle, as long as the hills aren't to steep I'm fine. Although the option is there to use the peddles as well.
Another good video
Thanks Mike.

I like churches from an architectural, historical and social aspect. But, even though I've droned dozens, being a total atheist, I've never set foot in one in my life.
Cheers mate, I know exactly how you feel. I can't believe that some people think that there is some Deity watching over us, weird. Although I would never disrespect anyone's feeling because they believe, each to their own. I like Stephen Frys take on it.
I love old buildings That roof wouldnt be any fun to work on Nice town and countryside too

Interesting to read the description as we've had a club weekend down there (staying a 'quirky' hotel in Workington) that started with a coastal walk past the power station I think. This is a chilled video with fab views. It's fun getting seagulls' eye views of marinas and harbours. Thanks for a nice bit of breakfast entertainment. I hope you get out flying today. Igot my first "You are not logged in" notification as I tried to fly on Gleniffer Braes, Paisley. Presumably because I tried to do a normal flight a couple of miles or so from Glasgow Airport. My RC asked for code I didn't have.
Thanks Terry, the power station is Sellafield Nuke power station. It's being decommissioned now though. There is an Aquarium at the Maryport marina and in the same building a cafe, great in the winter as they have a massive log burner. If you ever get back down you will have to try the Trawlermans Breakfast. We go at least every 6 weeks or so.
