Our A-Maize-ing Farmers
Many thanks to the hard working farmers of Arkleby House Farm for letting me fly while they were doing the harvest.
The annual October Maize harvest has started in the area, so while the weather is good it's a race to get it harvested.

I thought I would go back to Ennerdale to try out my new Air 3 but from the other side of the lake this time. Love the drone and really happy with it, need to adjust a few settings and that should help with the quality a bit. Thanks, we'd be lost without them. Are you Alan Simpson I went to school with?
Great videos Dave.long way from Denton Road school. 😂
Cheers mate, are you the Alan I went to school with?
I used to drive one of those tractors
So did I but it was in Farming Simulator on the XBox. Would love to do it in real life though.

Thanks very much appreciated.
Nice one mate not sure about the hot tub could do with a rinse lol i am fond of a bit of cheese especially when its like me mature and smelly or is that immature ? so the wife says anyway good to see you in the air mate.
David. 50% of what I watch, are farmers in Indonesia with their putput engines on two big wheels working every boggy bit of land you could imagine! They have all sorts of weird home made attachments. It's fascinating. My grand parents were farmers! Must be in the blood eh! Keep it up with that fun music too. Hope you enjoy my 3 foraging films in Scottish forests, and then onto Scotlands South West Coast for a big motorbike tour. Have a peaceful Sunday.
Thanks, I love British farmers, we really need them.
Out at Palacerigg Country Park. I can enjoy this better back home. Hoping to pop the drone up here for the first time. Still and bright to fingers crossed.
Awesome description - were backing Cumbrian made too. Your films put the "Great" back into Great Britain. We now need "Reform" to complete the job. Great music track too.
Thanks. I always where possible buy British and always back British farmers. We would be lost without them.
Thanks for sharing the magic! Good flight around St Kentigern's church 🙏 😍👍 Wishing you more success! Have a great weekend from Paul & Kathy in GB 🤝👍😊 ps.were in with you 151 subs now. 👌 Together were stronger✊

Lovely flying with you... you always leave me speechless with your skill... ain't this top notch quality... very artistic shots... so very beautifully complemented with the music... you raised hairs I did not know I had 🙏🌹
Thank you so much for the very nice comments, very much appreciated.
Why take off from Stuart’s field? Would it not be more respectful going to Pasture farm and asking them to do a fly over!
There was nothing disrespectful about it, Stuart was with me when I took off from his field and I didn't over fly the solar park or Pasture Farm.
The drone is definitely above pasture farm’s land looking over the farm/farm land onto the solar park, it just would have been considerate if you asked that’s all. Instead of finding your video on here.
@@kevinharrison9284 The drone is above the land but not the solar park or buildings.
Like I said, you could have been a bit more respectful and gave us a heads up of what you were planning, instead of asking permission from the neighbouring farmer.
@@kevinharrison9284 I only needed permission from Stuart to take off and land from his property. I don't need permission to over fly any land. What I did was within the law and I don't know why you are making such a big thing of it.
Thanks for the video my model railway is called church Hill
Had a look at it, looks really good.
Beautiful video. Just subscribed to your channel.

Spectacular scenery. Beautifully captured David. It's one of my favourite places. The Borrowdale Valley ❤❤
Thanks, it's an area I have always loved.
so happy to watch your video
Thank you very much appreciated.
Great video of such a dramatic area. Fascinating at the end how the cloud starts to roll down the hill.
Cheers mate, much appreciated.
Amazing good video
Hi I’m Tony from The Drone Show Live would you mind if we shared this amazing video on our drone show please. It was recommended by one of our stubscribers. We do a show where we showcase other drone operators channels/videos (livestreamed on 5x channels at the same time ) this would feature on Wednesday 18th September at 20:00 pm uk time. we share links to your channel in our Show description
What a waterfall and to see the cloud slowly dropping down over the hills. Amazing David loved every minute of the flight
Thanks, I took this earlier in the year, we didn't have as much rain then.
@davidharle952 I know what you mean, David. This year has been a washout in Scotland
Forwarded your video to the drone show live Tony asking if its OK to showcase it in a future episode
Wow, that's amazing, thanks a lot. Someone said the other day they saw a video of mine on the drone show live and has subscribed. I thought they made a mistake, cause I'd never heard of it. Will check it out thanks.

Thanks Terry, I took that a few months ago. Hope you are well, take care.
@@davidharle952I’m fine thanks David. Just looking at a blue sky and sunshine. Wondering if I can stand going out on the cold to fly. Or find a warm cafe and edit. 🤔😀
A crackin' vid of one of my favourite spots for hiking and biking and droning. But, new ebike coming next week and I'll be spreading my wings even further - weather permitting.
Good for you. I can see an e-bike for me in the not too distant. Just back from the Italian alps where it seemed every other bike was electric. Brought my drone and found it was no-drone UNESCO world heritage area 😞
Cheers mate, it's thanks to you (again) I found the place. My eBike has a throttle, so I don't have to peddle, as long as the hills aren't to steep I'm fine. Although the option is there to use the peddles as well.
Another good video
Thanks Mike.
Fantastic mate, beautiful relaxing footage and music! Great flying, saw your post in drone show live , liked and subscribed to you to mate , well done 👍👏

Nice one mate 👍 in lanzarote right now but loving those green views 😂
Cheers, watched you short video, it's a windy old place isn't it.
@@davidharle952 aye but it can be a nice breeze was hitting 28 yesterday
Well done David, smooth flying👍
Thank you my good friend. Best wishes.
I like churches from an architectural, historical and social aspect. But, even though I've droned dozens, being a total atheist, I've never set foot in one in my life.
Cheers mate, I know exactly how you feel. I can't believe that some people think that there is some Deity watching over us, weird. Although I would never disrespect anyone's feeling because they believe, each to their own. I like Stephen Frys take on it.
I love old buildings That roof wouldnt be any fun to work on Nice town and countryside too
Thanks, it is a very steep roof. We do have some nice places around here
Just found this well done rusty
Cheers Ian, how are you, haven't seen you in a while.
