I purchased one of these brand new from my local dealer. Would not recommend it. Sputtering and smoking issues within 1 month use. Oil out of the exhaust. I have a family member with the same mower and is also dealing with smoke issues.

if you are a mower shop, you should be reviewing the mower. Not taking $$ to advertise them.

Id upgrade from my really old (but stiil works great) 421 BUT this primitive chute control is a HUGE setback. The 421s squeeze system is amazing

Does anyone have any idea how to prevent the remote chute controller from freezing up? I experienced this during a recent major snow storm in the Midwest USA (Jan 2024). Extremely cold and 20" snow depth. The chute controller froze into position and there is no way for me to manually override it. Does any one have any idea how to prevent/cure this when it happens? Thanks.

I'm still looking for the battery version with separate power for blade and drive wheels. I have a hill to get back up and have to use my neighbors yard. Don't want to accidentally mow a strip across his lawn. The only mower I see is the time master and it's way too large...plus I'd prefer battery power.

I just got this mower the spring its nice but its not a good mulching mower self propelled works nice they need to make some changes to the deck the vortex really don't help.i have been in lawn buisness for about 25 years

Customer bring mower in for warranty work pays for warranty work waits for said warrant work that has been purchased to be approved all for an air filter change? If I had to go through that with my dealer on a warranty call I would be looking for another dealer
