Tú sí eres mejor que Billie Joel mí estimado amigo él gran Rigo Tovar americano también y el John Lennon segundo que es el gran Frankie Valli porque Frankie Valli es amor
I always thought this and “Manhattan Woman” were in the repertoire for no other reason than to keep Victor Willis from walking. If I remember right, he was the only straight member of the band. But then he seemed to have no problem singing on “I’m a Cruiser.” This just struck me as the musical equivalent of those editorials you’d see on TV back in the day, and then they’d show the rebuttal right afterwards.
Whenever I asked my parents for a color tv in the 1960's, I'd tell them how the Andersons down the block had one. "Yes, and that's all they do is sit and stare at that thing", my mom would say. " So, what's wrong with that?", I'd think.
In 1965, we had a crappy 1950s Philco with a 6" screen. My mom's brother, our beloved "Uncle Tommy", who lived up the street from us, got a new color TV. What a game changer! My mom eventually got our tightwad dad to spring for a color Magnavox color console in 1968. Nothing was better than the various "X-night at the Movies" on CBS, NBC, or ABC. We'd all gather together to watch.
whats sad is the mural has been painted over and its just a wall now. How could anyone paint over this???? in the original script, its more clearer that sonny painted the mutual of the 9 sisters hence why he has such a strong connection to it and why the sisters decide to help him.
Saw this at the theatre with a group of neighborhood kids. Remember us going back home on our bikes singing these tunes that I still hum to decades later. It furthered my love of mythology, musicals and artistic guys like Sonny.😁
I was 10 when I saw this movie. Drive inn theater.. I was blown away .. elo will always be my favorite band, second is Olivia Newton John. I am 54 now.. Olivia is gone.. the magic in music doesn't feel the same . When I want to feel magical, and young again . I listen to the xandu soundtrack...
Late 70s for us and it was grandparents' TV which we got after my grandfather died and my grandmother sold her home. It was at least ten years old when we got it.
Ive watched Greatest American Hero on tubiTV. Anything over a season by today's standards (22 episodes) especially if it had 44 or more episodes is hardly short-lived. I wouldn't consider anything from the 50s or early 60s when seasons were as long as 39 episodes per season, short-lived. If you're talking back then, don't forget, 22 episodes pretty much became the norm for a season in the 70s.-Fan of TV history.
O filme foi um show. E olha. Eu dei muito trabalho. 14 anos. Queria ir pra marinha. Servir nas forças armadas. Foi muita gente tentando me convencer a desistir. De qualquer forma. Acho que não tinha base da Marinha em IGUABA GRANDE. Mas dava pra patinar legal. Perto do posto do tigrão. No canal de IGUABA
Watched and liked all these shows as a kid, except the first one. Gentle Ben was even my favourite show during the time it was on ( yes, I’m that old).
My grandma bought her shoes from Hershey. I miss Kmart, Revco and Rexall drug stores, Plato's Coney island and Orin Jewelers. Dr. Kern and nurse Sutton. He was the best doctor I ever had.
I moved to Garden City, I'm originally an eastsider, Warren, Sterling Hgts., and I'm just really impressed with the city, it's got that 'Mayberry RFD' feel about it. (There's an obscure reference!) I'd be willing to bet it was a paradise growing up in like the 50's in GC. Great little town. Thanks for the video.
A fantastic medley of music by my number one ☝️ favorite band, Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons.
C/o 95

LOLOL, I was 5 in ‘65. What was that show with Chick Conner? Hilarious!!
I don't know if you will show mutual of Omaha's wild Kingdom that was on NBC on Sunday nights before Disney.
I remember that Peacock in Living Black & White! Many families didn’t HAVE Color TV then, neither did we!
Simplesmente ANOS 80 😂

I had hoped to take my family to the Ponderosa Ranch for a visit, but they burned the map!

❤ elo the fall 😊xxxxx
Loved this movie when it came out...I wish a Muse would visit me, I could use some help.
Want to recall Dr. Tari he keeps auto correcting on me. It was lasted three years and had Erin Moran from happy days.
Stuff like this always makes me cry. I’m ridiculous.
Is this Santa Monica or Venice? Is that closed street still there? Or is that a movie set?
❤

Me recuerda mi época
I was six. we didn't have a color TV until the 1970s.
That looks about as exciting as watching paint dry...lol
The year I was born. Wish I had been born n the twenties.
What about "The Twenty-first Century"? That was on Sunday afternoon. Great synthesizer and brass themes.
1965 and disney fascism on full display
I love the songs , this movie always ❤
6:00 mark or so. Sure those graphics were around in '65? That looks like early/mid 70's. So does the music
I was just 3. We didn’t get a color TV until 1967.
Saw this at the theatre with a group of neighborhood kids. Remember us going back home on our bikes singing these tunes that I still hum to decades later. It furthered my love of mythology, musicals and artistic guys like Sonny.😁
Hate roller blades. Those were the real roller skates.

We didn't get a color TV until 1972!🫤

Was it a Quazar?! I think that is the year prices on Color TV dropped to an affordable level.
@@DangerAwareQuasar was the brand name Motorola developed for its color TV line
I can relate. My parents bought a 12-inch Sony Trinitron color tv in 1972 -for their personal use! Oh well... it was their house, after all.

Daktari. A childhood favorite.
This is so beautiful Larry. ❤️
Great memories. Thx!

Grew up in GC. Went to Farmington Elementary. Shopped for groceries at the A&P on Venoy.
I remember Clarence the cross eyed lion. 😅 we watched it as kids.
When I saw the 8- pack of little cereal 😮 automatically flashed on Boy Scout camp. The most terrifying , miserable, lonely week of summer.

I liked watching Nichols and Nanny and The Professor!!
I watched Daktari.
