Sounds like a melody to me. You know what you're doing. I'd like to ask how much the stock cabrio 2.8 handles with stock internals, and what have you done to the car to achieve 500whp? Dealing with wheelspin is an issue in those high numbers. How did you deal with it?

Had a 89 SPG Turbo Massaged from the Factory Special order while serving in Germany. Brought it back in 90 OMG You'd think I was a celebrity. The hotties that car would draw !!! Black with Red interior. Traded it for a Panhead Harley and an S10. Saab had 173k miles and still ran wonderfully. Would hold it own with nearly every American car made in 1990

this will be interesting a B 284 R engine, this was only in the SAAB Turbo xwd, from the factory this gave 280 HP, 400 NM I think this engine was manufactured by Holden in Australian and not by GM in the USA, then I do not know if SAAB did anything, so it became even better, in SAAB circles the B 284 engine is not a real SAAB engine and many do not want it, but Holden, did good things, but if I know you correctly, this engine will to have MUCH more HP than 280👍👍 what is your goal, how many HP / NM are you aiming to get out of this engine, and what are you changing from the original, that you are putting in forged pistons, and rods, is just the beginning if I feel you right😀😀😀 greetings from Sweden

i am a SAAB nerd from Sweden i am mighty impressed by what you do i have a number of SAABs, these are mapped by Maptune, but i am nowhere near what you do the closest thing is my 9-5 Aero, where everything has been changed but i only comes up in 360 hp and 520 NM and then I have to run on ethanol, on 98 octane petrol it gives 340 hp and 420 NM what do you do to get up to 700 hp in a 9-3 👍👍🤔🤔 and still be able to use the car daily, without the engine and gearbox exploding

You should try to twin turbo your Red fury I think this engine can be twin turbo it just need someone like you to try it

saab nerd here, has tuned everything from 9000, 9-5, 9-3, etc but what the hell have you installed for turbos in your cars and do you map the Trionic system yourself respect

Where were you able to get the chassis mounts the subframe bolts to? Ive been trying to find an xwd car in the junk yard near me to cut them off. Trying to repair my turbo x. You guys create some pretty awesome builds!

I think His kit got upgraded again. I believe that was Brian’s old turbo he included from Turbosystems. I believe he uses Pure now for his wheels/internals now with slightly bigger turbine. Per Brian he said he made 550+ with iwg75 actuator on E
