Hello D. First time to see your video so I am not sure who among these five talented boys you already watched their solo's but I will recommend Josh to start with his debut song "Wild Tonight MV" and Justin's debut" Surreal MV". Ken or Philip when doing solo, I like "Fake Faces MV" although he has few songs before it already, but Seven Sins was his new album that came out. Pablo, of course you can't leave our Pinuno(leader) he has few, but my favorite is "The Boy Who Cried Wolf Lyric video". That song left me teary eyed and emotional. The genius of Pablo was undeniable. What a song writer and storyteller. It hits different. Stell, well it seems you have already seen his debut song "Room" that Pablo wrote for him. These young gentlemen really support each other, and it is so nice to see. I am so proud to be a silent A'TIN and I will always support and defend them against their bashers.

Rami is the most improved from evaluations to present. She was not great when she started (beginning), but you see the progression through the introduction video. She worked hard and practiced, it was not over night. But now, she is so good, possibly their best vocalist, can rap, dance, visual exceptional. Honestly Rami has come so far and is killing it, as are all the girls.

you've got to see another 5th Gen in Unis. Tiktok and KGMA find their We Unis so good that they gave Unis awards. Noteworthy in that album are the b sides: Dopamine and Dream of Girls. And they do a hell of a cover singing live.

It's about spotting the what no one else sees! That's why you're in your bed room making content and she's where she is today! YG's been doing this for years, they have some of the most talented k-pop idols in the business! Their individual scouting process and training is TOP NOTCH!

Those who auditioned competing with other thousand applicants for a spot were from auditions held in other countries. Usually the applicants from Korea were invited to audition and some were walk-in applicants.

Most likely, Rami's vocal potential was obvious to YG from the first audition performance. Her stage mannerisms were (cutely) awkward, but that's the kind of thing that YG particularly excels at developing in training. The second clip of her performing is from the same year, and it's easy to see that in that short amount of time she had already improved tremendously in her stage mannerisms. (Incidentally, she was still only 10 in both of those performances. She turned 11 in October of 2018). In addition to demonstrating her vocal potential in the performances, YG would have been evaluating her personality and character in early interviews, and in the way she responded to teachers, coaches and instructions...and evaluating how well she could improve in a short period of time. I'm sure she was quite impressive in those areas. At that stage, YG doesn't have to sign any long-term contracts with any trainee. It's just a matter of spotting potential and monitoring it. If a trainee doesn't show any improvement over time or has attitude issues that are problematic, they're gone whenever YG thinks it's a waste of time to keep them on as a trainee.

I absolutely love your reactions, your kindness with unrelenting honesty is much appreciated. YG is a magician at spotting raw hidden talent! I do feel you are a bit fast to comment at length the second you see something questionable, such as nerdy Haram (Rami) in her audition. Chill my friend, give the video a few more seconds to possibly answer your questions. (Also later on, looking at your phone missing a bit doesn’t help 😉 Please!) But these are very minor points, so please keep up the great work, and if you could, help us see the subtitles in future reactions by not having them cut off ❤

just for some context, KPOP companies, are looking for trainees with little to no training, so when they learn something, it is only what that company deems important for that trainee. SM trains differently then JYP and both train different than YG. So Rami showed little initial talent, but only potential, it was the same with Rora, who messed up all the lyrics, but still got accepted as a trainee, as it is all about potential on the initial screeening. But all the companies are looking for Koreans at a young age, usually about 11 years old, so they can train them over the next 5 years and debute them @ age 16 - 18 ish. It is different for the foreign girls, they do not have the luxury to travel over seas at such a young age, usually. so most foreigners go to auditions later in age, about 14 - 16 years old, with better vocals and dance skills. Chiquita is built different, as she was accepted at age 12-13? and within one year, YG knew he was putting her in the group. so much talent at such a young age. one more factor no one talks about. financial backing. most trainee families are not broke. I am not sure if the family pays YG to start training, or does YG eat all the cost hoping to recoup the money once they are debute. but looking back to BlackPink : all 4 girls families are well off, Jisoo father is a CEO of a big company, Jennie mother is reportedly a director and shareholder at CJ E&M which is an entertainment company in korea, while the father runs a hospital, Rose' mom is a business woman and father is a lawyer, and Lisa stepfather is a Master Chef Marco, connoisseur of Thai cuisine and author of culinary specialties. not much information is known about BabyMonsters parents, but I am sure they are in a similar situation.

Love your reaction! I highly recommend watching the Black and White Indivdual Live Performances (#1-7 including the dance performance) before the Last Evaluations. These were the first videos YG introduced us to the girls and we were all hooked.

Lisa and Pharita are genuinely quite close since their families are close. Lisa speaks to Pharita in English because she is accustomed to it; Pharita uses and understands English better than Thai, despite the fact that she is Thai, because she attended an international school since she was a child, which had a rule that she could not speak any other language besides English, so 80% of her vocabulary was English. Lisa frequently speaks to her stepfather in English because he does not speak Thai. He is Swiss.

An interesting fact is that Rami was selected by YG through DM Cast, which is practically a blind test of the person without seeing if they have talent and she had never danced or sung and even so, she went to a famous music school in Korea as the best in the class.

Hey D Double, I had the same thought that you had about the 11 year old Haram (Rami). To me she seemed like a nerdy kid that lacked rhythm and vocal ability. However, as you saw her transformation from year to year you will agree with me when I say YG has a super power in seeing the potential certain trainees possess. Haram is an intelligent, well spoken kid and what we can't see is her ambition and drive, her desire to become an idol. YG sees this in kids and with the training they receive, along with their dedication, he can mold them into idols. YG refers to her as Harami, and I think that is where her stage name, Rami, came from. You said you like them all, which is how I feel about them. I don't understand how anyone can pick a favorite, a bias, as they call it. For me it would be like trying to pick my favorite child. I guess for some younger fans, it is about seeing something in one or two members that they can relate or identify with. Loved this intro video, I think she sang most songs that I knew and nailed them. She was my bias at the start, but later became Chiquita, when Ahyeon didn't originally debut. I know that's unfair. Ahyeon is amazing. And she is a huge part of their success, I am so happy to see her back with the group. As I always say all the girls are so next level, my bias is 100, the rest are 99.99.

I'm just wondering how did you end up choosing this video😅😂. Ok, just some info. There's usually different types of video released for a BTS/members song. 1. Official mv - this is the main one and usually has the highest views. You can see whoever artist featured in the song. 2. Official mv(choreography version) or can be called performance video. The second main video and focus on the choreography rather than story. Sometimes it carries different names eg on and on kinetic manifesto. 3. Dance practice or choreography video. It focus on the dancing and was done in the dance studio and casual clothes. 4. Live performance video. Usually taken during their performance with or without audience. Main mv usually posted by hybe label which is the company channel. Other contents were posted by bangtantv, BTS official channel. Hope that helps😊.

This song she does at the end, "Monster", she does this cover again in a piano version, on the show Begin Again Open Mic, very good, and on the show Leemujin Service EP.140 she does a cover of Olivia Rodrigo's song "Vampire", I recommend you watch them.

The autotune is simply an artistic choice of hers. I think it really works well with this song and is used wisely bc it really fits the vibe and concept of it. She has an amazing vocals so her using autotune does not bother me since I know she’s not doing it to cover vocals. But i understand it’s not gonna be everyone cup of tea! Also, this is a pre release song for her upcoming album releasing the 21st! So it won’t be on streaming platforms until the album itself is released! 👍

Her Live Lives #1-7 shows it's her just how she goes from singing to rapping to singing and high notes with no stress

Most of the members trained for 4 + years I believe. Chiquita is the only member that had the shortest training time of a year and a half maybe 2 years
